I was looking for speakers with a good general report without ruining my portfolio.
I plugged in a line 6 ux2 from home and now a UR22 steinberg.
I use it for my recordings, mixing, but also for listening in general.
SOUNDS
The stereo image is good and also dynamic. Their main shortcoming is the ubiquitous low, making a good impression at first, but quickly tired and abandons certain mediums. This is especially heard in some musical styles. We can not therefore say that the speakers are an absolute neutrality.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for almost three years. I would do this choice. I tested several models in the store, but the deluxe BX8a responded perfectly to what I was looking for in this price range.
I love their dynamic stereo balance.
I do not like the bass a bit too present.
