Value For Money :
Excellent
I took these speakers for their attractive price combined with their size rather compact. The choice of the vent at the front was important for me since I can not currently treat the room (or the wall behind the speakers).

SOUNDS
frequency curve:
Let us put it to all in the context: it is pregnant less than 250 euros per PAIR.
For that price, the curve is neutral, there is nothing to say the above.
After so these speakers can be a tendency to flatter mids and bass can sometimes be limited (read below 70Hz), but nothing to worry about when starting, you can definitely get out of house mixes reasonable, and is best to start with pregnant with defects that can happen has control over time than to have the tapping listen fighter that can not tame a ... but your point of view!
I find it completely stupid and baseless to compare them with HS80 or even Yamaha NS10, is a comparison that does not make sense since it is not the same budget: compare what is comparable! (But I digress).
Dynamics is almost fulfilled, the stereo is excellent!
The sound is clear and precise enough to do this by hand with these speakers, or even for people with experience to appreciate a listening side (or more).
For mixing in itself, be careful at low below 80 or 70Hz, the limit of the speakers begins to be felt, and become difficult to control the bass without a subwoofer below 65Hz or so.
So for acoustic music (read with instruments), ca-sufficient: it can be exercised on the ear the eq of a guitar for hours without getting tired too (remember to take breaks!), But for music like electro or dubstep, short of asking for good bass music, I think has the IMHO is to spend its way to something bigger, or take their own initiative a subwoofer /
For the rest, I had the chance to spend my compositions in a real professional studio, equipped with Genelec 1030 and 1032 with the Genelec 1080 subwoofer in a room fully processed.
Well the result is surprising, or not just because I have not had any big difference in the mix (except in the bass, but it I expected membranes with 5 inch ...), otherwise the rest was well balanced, although the midrange seemed a bit behind on Genelecs (due to the bump in these frequency ranges on prodipe).
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for almost a year, and I tried a pretty good amount of studio monitor in this price range, m-audio, Samson, and Fostex etc ...
The prodipes come from the top of my list: the sound is balanced overall, well made (they are strong: 4 removals and are like new!), Vents before which afford not to lose too dynamics at low settings and frequency correction, all at a very low price.
I regret mainly on / off button is the speaker who was behind it: impractical!
These are very good speakers to start mixing without breaking the bank, even after their why not add the box pro10s or another.
With experience and with the same budget, I would do without hesitation that choice! otherwise I will take the speakers with a larger membrane for a bit more bass ... but hey I bought knowingly
