Monitoring studio, just to see if the mix goes everywhere.
No use to mix serious.
SOUNDS
Well below the acute lack of precision, but if you want to have fun to work a little loud (mode composition), they are very well work. As for placing instruments in the mix, it is better to work on something else.
HI FI for use, I would say that it can make a nice base for a good home theater. The bass response is quite good, but lacking precision, but hey at this price, do not ask either, will instead see the side of Genelec / Focal.
OVERALL OPINION
Two years I think. Product rather tough, not down at the moment and they look good 6-7 hours a day.
