This notice is the 3rd version. Does the update brings a result of r-cost of Yamaha MSP5 (which I also possde). The comparison is made here based on MSP5 (MSP3 are the part, I have therefore cart. Another factor is also taken into account, it is a question of prices and Resolv65a MSP5. As Samsons cotent cheaper, they are of between 2 of 10 paintings in all.
Points +:
_ Boomer 16cm (only 13 MSP5)
_ XLR and RCA Jack idpendants (no RCA MSP5).
_ Event bass forward.
_ Knob good and enjoyable dimension to the touch.
_ Good power (in my room of 16m, the level is 1/10me knob of his race).
_ Rglage Mid Presence.
Points -:
_ knob level of the rear and not Crant (the MSP5 have crantset are before).
_ No heat sink, hot plate rear bcp (the MSP5 do not even warm in their thanks t sink large caliber).
_ No calibration Bass / Treble (Yes for MSP5).
_ The blue plastic entourrant the speakers to give an amateur aspect monitors (the MSP5 is to look more pro).
_ Measurements of distortion and impdance of between not listed by Samson (yes Yamaha).

SOUNDS

+ Points:
_ Image Stro acceptable (less lgrement Dfine that MSP5).
_ The bank is quite frquences homogne.
_ The Mid Presence diversified somewhat the cost.

Points -:
_ Noise intrinsque speakers quite audible, especially when a heater does bcp. At low volume you can hear them. The MSP5 have not this problem: the noise of the tweeters are noticeable that less than 3cm.
_ Spatialization front / rear less audible than MSP5.
_ The serious but remain insufficient Submitted MSP5 that (thanks to the boom by 16 cm)
_ Tiring high volume (the MSP5 are less aggressive). One has the impression that Resolve65a cry, that is fairly empty on vocals. The Ssss ZZS and put forward are too empty and too compared to MSP5.

OVERALL OPINION

These monitors have been operating for four years ending for. I don 't use it to listen to music. I 've never had a problem with them and they still work (and MSP3 Resolve65a / 5). But as you can see, the sound of Samsons is not exceptional. This is a little to infrieur MSP5, although it there is a little more bass. The background music is more perceptibels and richer on the Yamaha. The default that are audible (bp mix) on the Samsons are also on MSP5, but I have the feeling that the Samsons exagrent. This feeling becomes even more empty of the voices (like Mr. Carey re: the MSP5 she cries a little instead of singing, but the Samsons she cries even more). 2 MODELS on, it lacks the clear across the spectrum: a veil more pronounced on the Samsons. That said, even when MSP5 are clearer at the top mdium and treble.

Finally, it is empty that s should not wait to wonder what price l. Nowadays, the offers are extensive, the Resolv65a REPRESENTATIVES not have much of intrts like 4 years ago.
