The new V2 Firmware introduces support for Pro Tools native cards (requires PT V8.5 or higher). The new Firmware also introduces support for longer Dig.Link Cables (certified up to 12ft) between Delta-Link and Pro-Tools native, Pro-Tools Core or Pro-Tools Accel Cards. Delta-Link MADI HD V2.0 Firmware is free and can be downloaded from the SSL web site.
The Delta-Link MADI HD is a MADI to Pro Tools HD converter for Studio, Live and Broadcast Applications. Delta-Link provides bi-directional connection via two PT HD Ports and two MADI optical fibre connections. With Delta-Link MADI HD, any optical MADI (Multichannel Audio Digital Interface) based audio equipment like routers (including the SSL MADI-X8), digital mixing consoles and audio converters (including SSL’s Alpha-Link series) can be directly interfaced with Pro Tools HD.
