-Connections: I use the XLR connectors, but there are also mini-jack connections, Hirose 10 points and TA3. With the optional AES-EBU, the sortiessont hybrid digital / analog (selectable in menu). Headphones jack and mini-jack.

-5 Channels mic / line with phantom power, preamp, fader and rotary cutting down of a 80Hz 240Hz
+ 2 return inputs (1 if an external CT is used)

High-capacity input and output

STAMPING-MS

Wav or mp3-recording 24-bit/96kHz max SD Card

-Requires 4 LR6 (AC takes about 8am, Decroyer faster recording) or optional external power supply

UTILIZATION

Quick with the documents 'Setup Menu' and 'Panel shorcut' to locate themselves the menus. Downloadable PDF on the Sound Devices website, it is advisable to have them with you.

In all fairly intuitive, we haunt the menu with LEDs VU meter and a voice the GhostReader Apple.

Inputs 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 are linkable, potentiometers pan, gain and low-cut are pressed to avoid the evil manipulations.

This mix has on each channel fader gain and the ideal.

The ability to record back-up cam Sound or for his only catch is a real advantage.

SOUNDS

Super quality preamps and converters.

OVERALL OPINION

2kg with batteries less bulky than the Nagra SQN as a plus recording on SD card has a good resolution and nevertheless possibiltà mp3.

Very good quality, comprehensive and easy to use.

Maybe a bit too many options, yet the USB connection does not directly import audio files, you need a SD card reader until a SHIFT firmware.
