Hello ... Rackmount console not ... prs but now two years since I work with this table SOUNDCRAFT SPIRIT FOLIO SX analog .. and I'm happy ... trs Ease of CASC, pr-amp with its pre-trs pro ... The 4-band EQ on each channel can be very useful in the same band pass 100 Hz. The table has, in addition to three shipments of auxiliaries in a real group (very useful for mixing a battery for example) and 8 direct out (for an 8-track recording by amples) ...

Table not rackable but trs complete. Nice and large precise faders. The connection has t tudie well.

UTILIZATION

With this small console, everything falls under the fingers. The functions perform their tasks well. Well it is a false four buses (main mix bus = 3 and 4) but it fiddling is doing.

SOUNDS

The preamp is of good quality for the price of the table. Less than blowing the competition (so-called noble) I also tested (have a look ...) (mackie 1604VLZ not to name it)
The Eq is a little soft in the treble (unlike the Mackie) otherwise it's pretty good.
The sound is very transparent colors but a fear in the large medium. Nothing serious. Matter of taste.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4 years! I take it everywhere for small performance impact it has taken, I have ready, she got everywhere (in pocket) even in large benefits to help ...
Beware the power plug fragile.

Very small table complete ergonomic connectivity.

I just sold it recently for a different configuration and quality I miss it already
Am I doing something wrong?? Perhaps, but I though it was sold nickel (I'm a maniac). But I know that if need be, I can easily borrow.
- What is so special that you like most and least?
accuracy settings, faders quality TB, heads the possibilities and robustness.
it lacks a built-in, maybe a 7 or 8 band equalizer and a connection for lighting. At the time all this was not done or not on small consoles. So I had to reverse in an equalizer (Yamaha) and a multi-effects (Alesis).

yes but small sub-brand table is used but not comparable. We can say that this is my first real table.

So, I understand little guys who say that the console "breath with knobs at the bottom" ... there is enough headroom to not needing to do blow! I always used with any type of microphone and never have problems!
The equalizer is the English so rather broad and effective: it is not clear as could be a mackie or yamaha (pretty cool), it provides a mellow, mild or transient dynamics are observed and also .
I would say that to sound 'authentic' hot round with acute felted, this console is perfect for his part "roots" rather oriented jazz, reggae, acoustic rock.

OVERALL OPINION

After going through a O2R yamaha 96, yamaha MG32/14, Mackie 32 / 8 and so on! I found this console rather authentic, no "made in china", but not necessarily transparent aging pretty well.
Today I sold it, perhaps wrongly, but the 48v switchable on all channels simultaneously, it is not my cup of tea!
a good console in short, which over the years we will probably regret his time!
