UTILIZATION

simple and effective, which can use an inline console

SOUNDS

I n're almost not use the pre amp mic so I would not be advancing m above, otherwise the eq is very musical's it's on, the trim line is effective and introduces n not breathing, very precise panning.
I mainly use lais experiencing mixing (analog summing and eq) connect to a pro tools via a universal audio apollo and rms fireface with analog output, I love the product by this frankly console for the price and age it sounds crushed by far the behringer, soundcraft, allen & heat and midas are sometimes more expensive than the Tascam ... I would say that it is more or less equivalent to the toft audio
and aesthetics are beautiful, my studio has a more beautiful live control room from

OVERALL OPINION

I used the last 1year, I have already worked on the Behringer, toft audio, ssl, yamaha, tl audio and amek
I would not say that it plays in the course of amek ssl etc but not far behind but mostly well before most of the between-level and mid-range ... honestly it fot try it to believe it, the day I purchase I have spend over 2 hours and I have been surprised directly with its na have to become much more robust tascam and best sound quality nothing .... the c advantage if we know if we can perform maintenance'm even all easily accessible ... see photo

Analogue studio console, introduced in 1991, marketed juqu'en 1995 I believe. Not suitable for the sound system, 32 input channels, in-line, 6 to, headband with bargraph. 70 kg + 13 kg of PSU ... Good monitor section, two possible tapping, bargraphs switchable input, return types, bus out .... practice!

UTILIZATION

Ergonomics almost perfect ... everything comes to hand. No need for manual for those who are familiar with in-line consoles. Premp mic with pad and high pass ... Mic Gain Right Honourable. 4 band EQ with 2 semi parametric .. we would have liked full 3-band parametric ... but it works, it's not an SSL 4000 home ..!
However, two major defects: no solo on the small fader ... it really lacks in monitoring ... and not to Eq monitor that turns the eq sweats the small fader and not on the fader wide damage ... . For the, for cons, the flip exists ..

SOUNDS

Console low noise preamp ... OK ... without reaching Eq effective performance worthy of a great cash ... All right, do not over stuff the bus outputs anyway .. otherwise it will twist. I make music with classic .. its transparency is appreciable, a little more heat can be, but the choice of microphones is more fundamental.

OVERALL OPINION

I work with SSL, Stagetech .... obviously, you do not play in the same court .... However this console is great his job. Its direct or allow you to connect up to 32 channel multitrack with some comfort. Its reliability is outstanding ... over 15 years of service, not a pot that spits, not a crack Switching, not a bulb ko ... Simply remarkable. So ... not perfect ... but certainly a pleasure to use ... without moderation!!

UTILIZATION

The setup is classic and simple. Everything under the eyes.
The manual is clear and complete arch. All schematics are in, part names and reference number as well. It allows for the maintenance yourself if you know it.

SOUNDS

The sound is round and warm and there are all the little noises that make the charm of this type of console. The eq is very effective despite the two filmstrips (bass and treble)

OVERALL OPINION

I really like this console even if in the digital age, there may be more comprehensive and less bulky. The only flaws that I found are:
phase reversal on all mic inputs and XLR outputs (the + is on terminal 3) and the level of direct out and return machines is to 10dBv. If work is saturated +4 dBu returns on. A little editing can fix it but requires modification of printed circuit input modules. I also regret the absence of a phase reverse switch per input.
I'm really happy with my purchase and I think I found the console for my studio.

I bought my secondhand Console TASCAM M3500 (after using for 2 years, TASCAM M2524, which I was very SATIF!.
Initially, I had a can "fear" it does not allow me to make my mix with as much flexibility as the M2524 (such as the M3500 does not have the mute memorized the M2524 is equipped with j ... have already "saved" the mix with this system).
However, the sound quality of the M3500 is absolutely remarkable: one would think almost at the MIDAS qualitée !!!!!!!!! (With the technical possibilities of a studio, and more).
I no longer wish the remlacer, in addition to the technical manual I have (very) with detailed, comprehensive electronic including diagrams and mechanical drawings of the entire mixer.
I wish you all to get a table of so good qualities, it is worth it!

Just one small detail: mine is a 24 (48) / 8 / 2, weighs over 60 kg, its power supply (19 pouces/3U rack) weighs 15 kg ......' must not be alone the transport, a minimum of 2 persons is expected.

Sound quality truly remarkable.
if you know the range of from MIDAS VENICE, I find that there are qualitative similarities ... up to you, if you have the opportunity to compare.

OVERALL OPINION

Excellent material ... although in the digital age, everything is always more efficient and better designed.
We should not expect a quelquonque control MIDI or quelquonque can memorize anything ... but you will have the pleasure (almost ecstatic, if you can "make" a sound, you can enjoy a com, 8 or 16 tracks depending on your VCR, worthy to be marketable).
