« Tascam Portastudio 414 »
Published on 10/31/01 at 15:00I bough it from Germany for 450 dm
cos i need a tool for demoing my songs
and for the time it done his work for the price i ve paid
but now i think to bay a digital recorder
the quality is average
theres no too many things to like or to hate
i liked the soport from Tascam Japan
wheres a girl who nicely fax to me the manual in English
because i dont understend the german one
the quality of recording is demo
not studio
maybe it is what this unit is suposed to do
the EQ sectin has only high and bass
no midddle control
no XLR inputs - there r put in yhe second edition 414 mark 2
the unit is well build
hey there is a problem with the out jacks
for line out and monitoring
as a little tech skilled man
i opened it and fix the problem -
there wasnot a good conection with the PCB
i had to resolving
the unit do a god job when my band rehearse at home with a drum machine
and i can put my ideas on tape when i wanted
but i stongly recomend u to go digital
