Purchased in 2008, is an efficient machine. The screen is a perfect fit: the place to organize my windows without losing sight of them 
It is a machine that I particularly recommend.
No worries drivers to install, search, ...
A reliable, safe, pretty.
I had two problems:
- Marks on the LCD panel (top, center) are visible on a white image. Not very annoying but does not go unnoticed.
- Firewire 800 port which is grilled after a year. Out of warranty, so Apple and really a shit about policy failures "just after the warranty. ("Need to see a repair center ..." ... "must see Apple ..." ... "need to see a repair center ..." ... "must see Apple ..." .. .)
On all Apple computer that I got was the only one with which I had such big problems.
For Notebooks, I highly recommend subscribing to a computer AppleCare because they are fragile (for PéCéistes is the same thing, all the portable computer are fragile! PC AND MAC)
