Alcons LR7Bass Array

As an extension of its L-series of products, Alcons is now shipping the LR7Bass, a bass-system, designed as a low-frequency extension of the LR7 micro pro-ribbon line-array system, in both permanent and portable applications.
Featuring a single 12” long excursion woofer with Neodymium magnet structure in bandpass loading configuration, the LR7B is designed to deliver “high quality, high output bass response from a micro-sized and weight efficient package, ” measuring 3 CD’s wide by 3-CD’s high.

The extended frequency response of the dual tuning is designed to enable the LR7B to be used as mid-bass reinforcement (80Hz-160Hz), full-range bass extension (45Hz-160Hz) or subwoofer (45Hz-75Hz).

The cabinet is made of 15mm/0.6in Birch wood with bracing for a lightweight yet rigid construction, according to the manufacturer. In combination with the 12” woofer’s Neodymium magnet structure, the result is a total weight of 19kg / 41.8lb including all flying hardware.

The integrated 3-point flying system matches the LR7’s Androgyn flying system, which can transform the LR7’s asymmetrical cabinet into a symmetrical system.

Availability
The LR7B is finished with Alcons’ Durotect coating, comes with a 6 years limited warranty and is part of the The Ribbon Network inventory, Alcons’ global dry-hire network.
