1 C media card REAL TIME 5.1 ENCODING???
I have an onboard C Media 9739 chip on my motherboard. I have really been into multi-channel encoding in the last couple years and have been trying to get more ability to out put a raw 5.1 signal through a spdif card that was provided along with inputing 5.1 . What I want to know is cmedia released this: http://www.cmedia.com.tw/news/2003CES/joint%20press%20release.pdf
Saying that real time 5.1 encoding would work with my chipset and a software but I can not find this software any where and does the systems that have this feature have an additional chip to support this feature. Hope that kind of makes sense :? anyways any input would be great thanks.
