Finally a system that reliable and relatively inexpensive to balance the MIDI from an acoustic source. The system seems reasonable trs at the CPU.

UTILIZATION

I use it for several months with a clarinet. The lapel microphone allows a great freedom of movement, both the good and the instrument rglages effectus agreement well before the music! Coupled with Ableton Live, this little box does wonders with a time of rponse any reasonable all with simplicity dconcertante.

I wanted to use to drive solo Prodipe layers of synth with an electric violin. Since the device only works with PC, I installed it on my netbook, a Medion Akoya E1210. Not issue a lightning war music: the Realtek sound card is a real wound (excellent output, input pourrave). But hey, it's a netbook, and it does not take much space!
No major concern: easy installation program (version 2.4).
Following is less funny: you must know your pc, otherwise, it no longer gives any sound: Windows takes a solo Prodipe external sound card!
The latency on my netbook reached 85MS. A bit much to rapid passages.

After four days of testing, I'm pretty disappointed with the difficulties. The errors of parameters (inputs and outputs of sound) should be managed by the program! At least with an array of internal configuration program: it is employing to always use the control panel of Windows, which requires each time stopping and restarting the program.

on the other hand, in recorder, violin and piano (monophonic and not too fast ...), it's more accurate. There should be room for improvement, but it demandrait access to parameters that are not accessible to the user: the interface is anything but friendly. The "tooltips" change nothing.
Fun fact: in "live", the violin in his "piano" sounds very honky-tonk. Same for many sounds ... The effect is not a problem, it seems very interesting to exploit.
For the price (€ 49.00 Woodbrass home), I would buy: the device seems to allow some interesting things. But I do not really recommend it: in the end, I am wondering if I could really use ...

I acquired Prodipe solo hoping to scan (in a midi file) the sound of my saxophone and especially to get back the attacks, slurs, vibrato ... in short, everything that it is impossible to achieve from a MIDI keyboard.

After several days of testing, after looking for hours because of the lack of sound on my PC (Prodipe started in place of the sound card without being invited !!!), disappointment is cruel to the point where I uninstalled all and the end Prodipe in the bin: the sound of the sax is narrow, the vibrato is not returned, the glissando qqchose becomes inaudible, Quick Notes does not pass all ... A disaster. Finally, I get to much better results from a MIDI keyboard on Roland Sound Canvas ... Obviously this is not the same price, but it is not because a product is cheap it must be ... a stew!

Prodipe Solo? Never!

I bought used 1 year ago and 1 / 2.
I use to double a sax with a synthetic TPTE eg.
