I AM LOOKING TO BUY A TASCAM 2488 NEO

I NEED TO KNOW IF I CAN PLUG MY KEYBOARD INTO THIS RECORDER

MY KEYBOARD HAS A MIDI IN/OUT SLOT

AND ONE OUTPUT

I WANT TO KNOW....

IF I CAN PLUG MY KEYBOARD...

THEN HIT RECORD

AND DUPLICATE WHAT I AM PLAYING

AS IN THE RYTHYM, SOUND OF THE INSTRUMENT AND JUST OVERALL THE EXACT SAME THING I AM PLAYING

THIS IS THE LAST THING I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE I BUY THIS

CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME

Hey Ive just looked into the product your on about, what kind of keyboard do you have?.. is it a midi controller or a synth?.. aslong as it has a 1/4" output you can record into the tascam device.

As far as the "duplicating" goes.. Im not sure but you can double track the part you want to record onto a separate track which would duplicate it.

Hope this helps... Dont know much about the products your using so i couldn't state much detail.
