06 May 2026 to 06:46[New Plugins] Driftlab Audio – Guitar Amps/Effects and Studio Tools (Free Trials Available, Windows VST3 Only)
#1
Hey everyone,
I’m the developer behind Driftlab Audio. I originally built these tools out of necessity — as an Ableton user working mostly with stock plugins, I struggled to get the DI guitar tone I was hearing in my head. I spent more time tweaking than recording, and eventually decided to create my own set of windows VST3 plugins that were simple, musical, and fast to dial in.
Each plugin is designed as a modular piece that stacks well with other tools, but they also form a cohesive ecosystem when used together. I’m releasing my full catalog this year, and every paid plugin includes a full‑access 10‑day trial (no limitations).
Here are the releases so far:
Polisher (free) - A first‑in‑chain signal conditioner that cleans and standardizes your DI before it hits anything else. Great for all guitars, including budget instruments. https://driftlabaudio.com/polisher
Seaside Clean - A clean amp inspired by classic British preamp/power amp circuits. Works beautifully on its own or as a platform for effects. https://driftlabaudio.com/seaside-clean
Sunset Stack - A high‑gain‑capable amp that covers classic rock through metal, while still offering surprisingly good cleans. https://driftlabaudio.com/sunset-stack
Sunwarp - A distortion pedal in plugin form. From clean boost to extreme saturation, and it stacks extremely well — duplicate it for heavier tones. https://driftlabaudio.com/sunwarp
Cabs - A cabinet emulator using filter‑based cab and mic modeling (no IRs). Pick a cab, pick a mic, dial your tone. https://driftlabaudio.com/cabs
