[NAMM] Gretsch Roots Collection mandolin & banjos

Gretsch expands its Roots Collection with two new banjos and one mandolin.

Legendary US-manufacturer Gretsch will be adding several models to its Roots Collection of mandolins and banjos during NAMM 2014

The acoustic-electric G9350 Park Avenue F-Mandolin has the following specs:

  • Arched solid spruce top with solid maple back and sides
  • Oval “F” soundhole
  • Maple vintage “V” shaped neck
  • Rosewood fretboard with 24 vintage-style frets (12 to body)
  • Scale length: 13.7"
  • Ebony bridge
  • Open-back geared tuning machines
  • Engraved tailpiece
  • Fishman M300 Nashville piezo-ceramic pickup
  • Antique semi-gloss Vintage Sunburst finish

 

The specs of the G9480 “Laydie Belle” Irish Tenor Banjo read:

  • 3-ply solid maple body
  • Tortoiseshell binding
  • Whyte-Laydie tone ring
  • Vintage soft “U” shaped 3-piece maple/walnut/maple neck
  • Rosewood fingerboard with 17 frets and vintage B&D inlays
