Best value: Excellent
Bass preamp

1 input jack / output jack 1 / 1 XLR

External power supply or 9V battery 9v

Bass / Treble / Presence / Drive / Level / Blend / Bypass

Plastic shell quality
But lacks a medium setting ...

UTILIZATION

Super simple.

The Blend adjusts the rate of "simulation lamp"

Just missing a setting of medium, but the settings can present quite some possibilities.

SOUND QUALITY

Connected directly on a table or a sound, this amp is perfect.
The bass has good definition, good presence and potatoes.
What's more, this preamp does not breath!
It's easy, on my monitor, I have a better sound with this amp with my old bass amp Behringer!
The Drive allows for its low cruncher and significantly alters the sound.
The sound can be very cold (transistor) or very warm sound with Blend.
I do not know if we get a sound "Ampeg", but in any case, it sounds pretty good!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over a year.

It's simple, I love this amp that I recently discovered playing live (before I use it in recording).
The sound is pretty good, build quality and good price concrete.

An excellent choice to excellent value for money. Besides, I do not think the SansAmp do better ...
