Best value: Excellent
This is a box of live active, combines a low prampli (transistors) that can change the tonal and simulate the saturation of an amplifier lamps. Pushing rglages (high level of bass, high level of overdrive and high levels of shuffled his saturson clear), we get a large enough distortion, and ultra infrabass MUSCL es. But say it excels prampli sound grazing (removal of high frquences trs, boost the infrabass, partial sticking of attack ...) and for low saturation medium, its crunchy.

UTILIZATION

The Casing has no switch, and plugging dclenche (very bottom) a jack. We do not tmoin Power, it only remains that we are well vrifier food by pressing pedals dclencher for a red light showing that exploits effects. The ground lift is efficient (it allows to avoid some snoring).

The optimum rglages vary the bass uses. But as the knobs are not gradus must rely ears to find his sound that simply can not mmoriser (it is not allowed to make his personal mark ...).
It is a pity that we can not use phantom power from the mixer to operate the DI-pramp. The 9V battery compartment for TRS is lousy, but it eats too much battery ... Aficionados of all pedals have a fawn 9V transformer. It is convenient to have two outputs (one symtrique, an XLR) simultanment used.
The name of the potentiomtres rglage is quite explicit, and the manual is not used much. It could give some advice on the most used rglages.

SOUND QUALITY

The optimum rglages vary the bass uses (indpendamment gots of each and the desired effect. Test on a Fender PB 57, we obtain a trs aisment his typically rock classic. With a Yamaha RBX374, we also get good feedback, but in a narrower range of rglages. It is clear that the simulation of a bass amp lamp gnrique is correct, the recording the bass is very easy, and that's what it sold the boti.
Under the conditions of normal use, this does not introduce Casing at all of breath using the prampli (normal gain, treble reasonable ...). The DI is transparent (comparison made on the same amp, with one between direct and Hi-Z XLR symtrisation APRS)
I test this pramp on bass, among others, but frankly rsultats obtained are no intrt. I do not even talk to other instruments.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two months. I do not compare this to the SansAmp bass pedals MXR M80 Bass DI and DI who do not in the same CATEGORY price because of all fawns is a low branch e on a real bass amp to be compared. An amp emulator remains a succdan sr but its really draws a INTERESTED, at least with some bass.
Résumé in a small very nice pedals that quickly lugging around his big bass amp while achieving a good sound without breaking the bank. A prsentation a little cheap, but not too bad when even get excited too quickly, but it has much to rev the little money we invested, there is no u!
