The connection is via USB to program effects and edit.
It is not "rack" but is it really important?

USE

It is extremely easy to use
and laccs the parameters is very intuitive. No need to read the manual which is full with humor.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality is STANDARD and sometimes you wonder if worth dinvestir in amps / pramplis very expensive, because the Bass Pod XT makes its nobility nimporte which amp.

n this model is not rack mountable, but the bass pod xt is the pro.

UTILIZATION

Configuration is very simple, but the edition is the least bcp.

J uses my bass pod xt with pedalier line6fbv shortboard, which is also very good.

SOUND QUALITY

OVERALL OPINION

I use the bass pod xt right now for 2 months, and I have not finished n d be surprised by its capabilities and its quality.
C PROFFESSIONNEL IS A TOOL!! And versatility that will satisfy all expectations.
J before I was very disappointed by the other bass preamp modeling a (v amp and boss gt6b Behring).
LINE6 IS GOOD FOR YOU.
report quality price level, I have a pretty enjoys preferential treatment, but the price in store is very very right being given the quality of the machine.

UTILIZATION

Personally, I find the grip of the machine is super simple, in a few shot wheels we could find sounds that we are that I am not a fan of factory presets.

I managed to find the sound I was looking for without breaking my head, the edit mode is simple and clear. (The French manual is just as important)

SOUND QUALITY

The sound effects up to my expectations, level money is not better I think. I try the low GT6 and frankly I would do the same choice.

I use it with a low Moscato 6 strings on a recording station Cubase, USB Duo (M-Audio) and Powerbook G4 + Yamaha MSP5 ... frankly surprising! And live on a Peavey TKO 115 (small amp), but the pod me out sounds terrible.

I particularly like the clean sounds, distortion when AISIN that do not grow too much. I like the less I call unnecessary effects like synth!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for the past 4 months
I particularly like its ability to be as effective as its clear that saturated
I already try the Boss GT6 low, and I had a Boss Overdrive pedal (which I shelved)

I'm a fan of Line 6 products, I like their sound and my guitar is what I choose!

- 3 catgories effects: stomp (distos, fuzz, compression, synth, wah ...) / modulation (chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo ...) / Delay & Reverb (analog, digital, echo, reverse , spring, hall, flat ...)
an effect can be activated by CATEGORY so you can have for example the following string: fuzz + + chorus analog delay, but we can not have such distortion + wah, chorus and tremolo +. But good for bass, I think it's not too pnalisant.

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

- Yes. Line6 adj proven, the amp simulations are excellent. For registration is happiness!
Level effects, and fuzz distos are terrible, the synth is any fact used (an old boss from ME6B I had before, c day and night!), Modulations, delays, reverbs, are trs good quality I got.
The compressor, despite a unique rglage + or - (threshold, attack, release automatically adjust) is excellent! . Ditto for the gate, my old comp / gate Behringer is no longer the comparison, I put it in the closet!

- A Lag Presence Deluxe and a Fender Mex JazzBass

- What are those you prfrez, you dtest?
- Most of my bass presets are on the "Classic Rock" (simultaneous Ampeg SVT), but I use and I love also the Hiwatt and Acoustic. Level effects, "Fuzz Pi" (Big Muff simultaneously) is standard, and I also use a lot of analog chorus, a synth or two, opto tremolo ...

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
- 6 months. Live, I use both my Ampeg combo that direct the sound. At first with my sondier to hallucinate he had absolutely nothing touch, the sound is nickel. I also use it for recording though sr.
By the way: from curiosities I tried a guitar in it, with the effect: I do not seem to AC adapter.

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?

- I had a tight budget so I also INTERESTED Bass V-Amp Behringer (which has a price at the grass roots from the Bass PODxt). I could not try it but some opinions taient unanimous: the V-Amp is good / Bass PODxt is the bomb. My wallet suffered a little while but it seems justified in quality.
