To complete the pedal is sturdy and heavy (about 500g), a very good point.

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, the manual is just a piece of paper with the spec. And some explanation.

The saturation potentiometer has no linear travel is convenient for assaying "growl / crunch" then from 12pm early saturation begins with small steps tight to continue aggression to limit , it does not turn into Fuzz it stays in aggressive distortion cutting off an arm!
(To turn it into a fuzz just put the "tone" of a passive bass eg Precision bass on mini. This is not bad but I think it's still a backup solution with respect to a true fuzz. )

Potentiometers presence (acute) and contour (medium) are very effective especially presence, I put very little!
To "level" it is a long push, I put it at the last "L" to stay equal with light volume of the amp, it all depends how you play basic volume on your amp ... recess.

SOUND QUALITY

My setup: Gallien Krueger MB Fusion cab. Markbass traveler 121h, Squier Precision Bass Matt Freeman, aguilar agro boss odb-3.

The first point is most striking, no loss of bass! Great!
Secondly, a great natural grain scratching well low saturation to go farther nicely dirty, all with heat.
Third, I think the grain is kept low and thoroughly mixed with the distortion ... (Aguilar to think that probably put a "clean" button was useless.)

A pick or fingers, this distortion is ecstasy, frankly .... it performs well in the 2 types of game, slap is also excellent, although I am not a worshiper of slap.
Is obtained growl enough to finger snapping and a great pick attack due to the presence, really enjoyable, careful not to abuse it!

I can also speak of the channel B loaded lamps gain 14h my GK Mbfusion ... with the aguilar is the FOOT!

OVERALL OPINION

I possess for 1 month.
For me it completely buries the ODB-3 boss, synthetic and strident, with its wet / dry unconvincing (a kind of clean), unless I enjoy the change for fun.

What I like most: it easier to growler, grain super low mixed well and kept low frequency intact, as a super grain of the large plaster on a wall!

What I like least: mandatory screwdriver to change the battery, but a good 9v transformer and it's done.

Value for money: you pay for quality, but it's still cheaper than the Tech21, depending on the place where you buy.

If tomorrow a tractor rolls on agro, for sure that I bought another one!
