OVERALL OPINION

Despite some flaws, this pedal is what is closest to what I expect for a low distortion (grain mix knob between its light and saturated). His big flaw: the "party" saturated signal is overloaded in acute.
With the guidance of Tom Mojo, so I hacked in every sense but for years without coming to fix this annoying feature.
Normally, I recently discovered a forum explaining the problem is actually a manufacturing defect at the factory! The diagram indicates that the DOD should be a resistor R3 1K (brown-black-red-gold) while a 200Ω (red-black-brown-gold) lives in the pedal. Which rises above the cut-over to 720Hz 6Khz ...
Components are identified on the printed circuit board modification is very simple and requires no special expertise in electronics. Simply remove the back plate, remove buttons, nuts pots, the screw that secures the circuit and replace R3 by 1K (or 900Ω, 800Ω or even if one wants to maintain a few of his acute).
And that changes everything!
In passing, we may take the opportunity to replace the mini-international on-off, aging in general poorly ...

It speaks well of overdrive, and overdrive only. The pedal can also be used to boost, but it is not its primary function.

SOUND QUALITY

the quality of the drive is surprising for a product transistor. It is not on the musicianship of a lamp, but we approach it.

OVERALL OPINION

An excellent pedal drive, which has the distinct advantage of offering a clear mix / Drive through the blend knob.

Compared to my Ibanez PD7 overdrive mode, the DOD wins hands down. PD7 but has many other assets.

UTILIZATION

The presentation could not be simpler, the fact of not having to remove the pedal or not need a screwdriver to change batteries is highly apreciate. Also the manual shows some basic settings ("crunchy", funky, grunge, etc..) Which are very useful for many take up the pedal and know which setting is appropriate for our game

SOUND QUALITY

Versatile, good sound, works quite well on 5-string. Not much to complain about.

OVERALL OPINION

Very satisfied, I would do the same choice again.

Overdrive pedals for adding a lightweight crunch up a pronounced but not overdrive fuzz. Blend button shuffled the original sound of the bass overdrive effect that is very practical. Unlike Previous notice is a Fully analog pedals with true bypass, the sound is not relevant when the pedals is dyed.

UTILIZATION

Trs simple to use, the manual (minimum. ..) is of little use, the rle of the buttons is empty, only the Tone knob may seem simplistic, there is no legalization of several bands but I RULES this on my amp.

SOUND QUALITY

The effect is trs musical overdrive, I use an APRS PDAL compression EH Black Finger lamps. The pedals I become indispensable in many cases. The possibility of the shuffled his clear and the overdrive is a major advantage.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a month without stopping. No complaints do. The other pedals I've tried added too much distortion, I do not play metal. Excellent quality-price.

Versatile, good sound used at the time with a EDB605 - 5 string + head HARTKE HA3500
I use it almost in boost, mixing half a foot and half his original + a bit of drive sound is excellent but not neutral (still colors the original sound)
