UTILIZATION

I play in a rock trio (type The Strokes, Placebo, Buckley ...), I like the big bass sounds very dynamic. The trio requires a strong presence of the bassist, so I play with some effects. I needed a real bass overdrive I'm thrilled!
Use: It's simple, a few seconds and ears and it sounds.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality is excellent, the sound of my Musicman retains all its characteristics (that's where it usually fish with low distos).
I find it very consistent with my set-up:

- Musicman Stingray 1990
- Boss CS3 compressor (BBE Opto soon) + EBS multidrive + Boss + SansAmp Bass Driver SYB3
- Amp Fender BXR 300C in (I do not like the color of the preamp, power amp, but with the SansAmp it sounds better than a lot of Ampeg)

OVERALL OPINION

I limit myself to a global opinion because everything has been said about this pedal. For my part I play the output of a compressor to attack a Tech21 SansAmp Bass driver (great amp). It was a moment I was looking for something equivalent to the rich and fat overdrive Bass Driver when you push to max ...
Well, that's better! Everything is usable on this pedal, it will almost fuzz of synthetic (type Boss OD) on "Flat" natural crunch in a tube amp that is frankly attack (on "Tube").
The only drawback is related to the richness of the craft, one dream to remember the sounds.

I leave at 10 because I knew from the start that there was no memory.
