USE

A fairly simple equalizer: high, mid, low mid
Shape filter to move from a round and well rsonnant a clean / slamming but do not mistake the sound "slamming" is pretty bland ... slap me that much I have ever used!

SONORITS

At that price l can not ask too much. It is not unusual but it ensures enough for group play. And when you push the volume, the sound does not saturate, it's a good point.

NOTICE GLOBAL

I use this amp for 3 years and we now cover even if at the beginning it suited me he very quickly shown its limits. For an amp he 60Watts of power but the sound quality'm not ... notice that for the price it costs it is not too bad either ... but do not esprez make big rpt 'with .. it is easily dpasser by the sound of the battery (especially if your drummer is a lumberjack), and do not think even a concert of ... Either way for concerts must be a minimum of 100 watts

it's a good amp level report qualitprix for beginner who want a fairly powerful amp for rpt 'garage .. but not local rpt ...

if I had to go rear I refa = erai not that choice, I choose rather to a few euros more, the Gallien-krueguer backline 70 watts (230 Thomann)

I bought this from Musicians Friend for $160, but it had free shipping which saved me about $33.

This thing is LOUD. For being only 60 watts RMS, I was REALLY surprised at how much this thing can put out. I play it at volume 4 (otherwise my parents complain)but it handles my 5 string very well. I really like the Shape feature, too. It adds a sort of compressor sound to it, and it can go from very punchy, treble punk style to really bassy and full. This thing shakes my house, too. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I play a 5 string, and at higher volumes, it kind of lets up on the very low frequencies, for example: if I've got the shape on 10 (out of 12), it'll give me a very solid bass sound. It's awesome on the top 4 strings, but if you play the 5th (low B)open, it's not at the same decibel level as the others, if that makes sense. I'm not sure if this is normal with a 5 string, but that's how it is. Also, if you have the shape up past 10, you lose your treble a good bit, but if you like a lot of bass sound, and like to feel it, not hear it, this is your amp.

The construction is pretty nice. This is a hefty sucker. When I got it, I didn't expect it to be as heavy as it is. The speaker can handle a good bit (it's rated at 100W RMS) so don't worry about it blowing out or anything. The Tolex covering (or whatever it is) is nice, too. The circuits seem to be well-made, too. The whole thing doesn't overheat, which I've had trouble with in the past (Ampeg 2x10). Very well made.

This amp, for the price, is AWESOME. It's loud, sturdy, flexible, and portable. If you're looking for a small gig amp that won't let you down, this is the one for you. Compared to my friend's Carvin 8x10 stack, it's not loud or anything, but that's hardly fair to compare it to a stack. I'd say that if you put this next to an SWR LA-15, this thing would kick its ASS. The LA-15 has only got the wattage on it, which this baby can easy catch up to. Overall, this is a very well-made amp that I'm gonna be hanging onto.

Purchased in Feb. '03 from American Musical Supply.com fro $115.00 plus shipping. Purchased because of perceived value based of feature/price ratio.

Many features including 3-band Eq, passsive & active inputs, tape in, line out as well as headphone jacks. Very portable (not too heavy).

Upon delivery of the amp, the packaging was so badly damaged that I took photographs of it before opening the box as a precaution in case there was any damage to the actual unit. There was no visible damage but I was surprised to find no power cord and no English language owner's manual in the box. I contacted AMS and they sent out a power cord and manual.

After about 4 months of gentle use as a practice amp, it developed a loud buzzing noise whenever certain notes were played. This happens even at low volume. Since it was past the 45-day period, American Musical Supply would not accept a return. After sending several unanswered emails to support@behringer.com, I found the telephone number for your US office.

When I contacted Behringer customer service department, I was given a return authorization number. I told the Service Administrator that assisted me that I was unhappy with Behringer's policy requiring the customer to pay the shipping costs to their authorized repair center. The customer service rep. indicated that I would have to ship the amp to a service center in NYC at my own expense to have it repaired. It cost over $20 to have the amp shipped to the repair center.

I contacted American Musical Supply's customer service department but they would not do anything to help me with this issue. When I spoke to their customer service manager, she said, "That's the risk you take when ordering products on the Internet."

After receiving the unit back from the repair center, I tested the unit and the problem has NOT been resolved. The unit continues to buzz very loudly whenever certain notes are played on the bass guitar. This unit is obviously defective.


The quality of this unit is in my opion, very poor to the the ongoing issue with the buzzing. Other than that, the physical contruction of the cabinet seems to be sound.

Buyer beware! I would not recommend purchasing any equipment from Behringer or American Musical Supply. The customer service for both companies is poor. The quality of the Behringer product is very poor. They do not have a developed service network in the US.

Before purchasing a product on-line, find out where the companies nearest repair center is located. Stick to manufacturers that have local repair centers to avoid shipping costs.

I bought this amp from Musiciansfriend.com for $139.99. I bought it because I was in desperate need of a semi-loud bass amp to play gigs, and this amp was what I was looking for at a very low price.

I love this amp. It is LOUD. It came at a very nice price, and is good quality. I like the tone shape filter, because it works just like a bass compressor pedal. It lets you get a huge variety of sounds along with the equalizers. And it's LOUD, very loud for 60 watts. So loud that it made a light bulb go out in my room when I didn't even have it up to full power. This thing shakes my house too. My parents HATE it. But I love it.

There is nothing that I have found wrong with this amp. I've played it pretty hard for the 3 months I've had it, and it still works perfectly, has no noise or feedback.

This thing is built to last. Like I said, I play it rough and it's still in perfect condition. I'm not so rough on the outside (even though the outside is built like a tank too) but I'm rough on the speaker. The speaker still sounds good and can produce "earthquakes" in my house.


I am proud of this amp. It has 60 watts of bass power. It produces a wide variety of sounds. And I think it will last a good long while. It is nearly the best $139.99 that a bassist can spend.

SOUNDS

Very versatile, the four bands allow many things combine to shape the knob.
It lacks enormously compression. Ue but once we get this one added a lot of good things.

I always play in Baritone, or 6 strings and passes very well so serious.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had ... long. Never down, he survived the displacement very many that I could do with. Very powerful, reasonable in weight, except for a big lack of compression I did not have much to complain about. the value for money is excellent.

It is a 60 watt amp transistors with multiple inputs / outputs:
An entry-in for CD players or other;
-An outlet for CDs or other devices;
Jack-a passive bass and one for low active;
-Headphone jack;
-Entry for a preamp and an output to a speaker;
-A Line Out.
It is equipped with four tone controls: Bass, Low Mid, High Mid and High.
The only effect present is the mode shape which gives a warmer, fatter.
So there is this slight lack of built-in effects which is unfortunate ...

UTILIZATION

The configuration is fairly simple (a hand that I do not understand the usefulness of the Line Out).
The sound is easily adjustable and stays clear without the mode shape is fatter and more enjoyable when you activate it. The manual is unfortunately not very clear but hey, we can do without it because the amp is very easy to use.

SOUNDS

I play every genre and I must say with my Cort Action Bass 4 get sounds pretty awesome for this price, it's going from grunge to punk rock to rock and hard rock.
I said above, the sound is clear is fat, which is appreciable.
The sound has a lot of punch.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 weeks and I am totally convinced
Pros:
-Excellent quality / price
Power-quite enough to catch up with 75 watts of guitarists with whom I play;
-Many adjustments to get a good sound;
Punch-general of the sound;
-Many connections.
Points a little good mons:
-Not easy to transport with 16 kg;
-Lack of built-in effects;
Connections poorly-explained in the manual.

In short, I think it's a very good model, but if I had the choice again I would take the 120 watt model, which incorporates the distortion and I liked the store. But if you want to play in groups without spending a fortune, it's really good at all!

Maths should not have been able to use sp for an amp nonplus.

Everything is a matter of taste. For my part I am happy with the sound trs I draw (my sound is deep and powerful while keeping a sharp part in the high and med agus).

I made the metal, is perfectly appropriate to me, I what I want out of this amp without be back in the group.
I do not like the regular withdrawal without acute low normal (that is right for the bass). With this amp I spell my sound enough aisment same slice above the guitars. It is a little cold but is corrected by heating with my pedals.

Cort Curbow 5 string bass (ACGCF 45-130), Boss ME-50B

Well as said above. and has little prs psossible any sound, the shape helps a lot for a. To search the sound is better now deactivate the shape and then finding its sound and the need to re-enable the shape to give the final touch.

- What are the sounds you prfrez, you dtest?
Too agus that breaks the ears, so bad that no one understands what is played.
With this little amp is achieving these two extremes, bassists to find the happy medium.

The look is a bit rustic but good since I bought the Avaya to put in the rehearsal room has done its rle.

Yes, I plan to buy dailleurs the head amp for low history of not losing the sound. My only complaint is the output line to take over the console ... bah has an XLR'll have t cool but hey I will not Cipote nonplus.

In any case, it is good enough team.

I beginners bass on this amp a few years ago and came back!

Question power it provides, the sixty watts are the! The dynamics is correct - no more.

For résumé is a good little amp for study or BPS. But no more!
Its low price and good power make it attractive for small grants.
A beginners find happiness with. Tter to the shape a little diffrent sound without excel in a particular sound.
But later it will spend more srieux for a bass sound worthy of the name ...

UTILIZATION

I had (and I still APRS 3 years of use) some of the problem rgler mdiums the Difference frequency drives are sometimes subtle but the rest is nickel, found his sound in 10 minutes max.

I remember not having a manual, j'tais left with the amp in the hands, anyway, there's no need.

SOUNDS

It is the small weak point of the amp.

I have the perfect sound, the sound that I always wanted, but not change, I can not have other sounds (which is still a bit boring ...).

I play it with a Cort EVL Z4B, it gives a well rounded and well-fingered pchu to mdiator.

The bass is a little feeble, if they are pushed to the max (like I do), ca dgeule, but the mids and highs are great not too bad.

OVERALL OPINION

It's been 3 years now that I have is my first real amp and I regret not having bought. I admit that dpart, I regard the price (200), but over time I think I made a very good choice and I think it is Shared dja demand me what is c'tait as an amplifier for the same, comparing the major brands (Fender, Hartke ...), it's been fun.

The price quality ratio is excellent, you can not find an amp as good for that price.

The more that I would keep: the power (I never fuck the bones to the max) and the shape that really gives another dimension to the amp.
