I'm not at all agree, this is a very well grown old amps, I had a boyfriend for my local yarn repeat, he spat more of ground, a bomb hit contacts, a brush stroke and vacuum on circuits imprimés.C is gone.
I used this amp in my local in local grow back as sourdingues before asked if they should of not more attacked more with their fingers or review their égualistion (usually a beginner you will meter wholes knobs thoroughly assimilated on his amps, saying that you do not agree, it normal front and back, it sounds a dirty amp) they are fucking me down, it always gave sound but very low you to the lower part of the printed relay fuse circuit (I do not speak fuse supply secu ass of amps!) if only one of these fuses is grillier thy works but very low amps.
Another thing a good shot cleaning machines, sound flasc is not really normal even an old speaker that more "compression" has this amp lying in a large building for 4 or 5 years, very cold, despite heating and wet, mine still works with the fire of God and I renonsser reselling, I know bass amps, I owned a different ais twenties.

OVERALL OPINION

Its more than six months do I use it I board had no problem nothing has snapped despite the fact that it did three years Pette fire.

The good thing about this amp is the pr-qualisation, not really practical for her to spend three hours rglages. Personally I have two or three days to find my sound and since I have nothing whatsoever to touch the RPTES or concerts.
Ngatif point is that this pre-qualisation bte be changed with a button, o the difficulty of changing style in the middle of a song.

UTILIZATION

As I said before this amp has a pre-qualisation and it allows a simplification of rglages. Same with the three knobs trebble, mid, bass rgl noon he Yadji a particular sound. Something evil is not the possibility to connect one or more speakers with the release of "external speaker" (Practice concert ...). When the manual, I do not think there need to read to understand.
I use it for six months and I have not had a problem. Must say that I bought used 450 euros a bassist who to pass by Hartke. Precision: the main HP t replaced by an H & K HP can dlivrer 300W ... so no problem when the volume is close to 10.

Personal I'm a bass player in funk / rock psykreggea and I play with an Ibanez SRX 300 (active, so even more possible for her rglages ...). No problem for a well bold blow against the treble a bit when you put the HF Horn en route. This must be said that the stuff I use less. The slap sound is of good quality and rglage "mdiator" gives his rsolument mtallique, what the foot (well I like beacoup, not bad when I d crowd not complicated stuff like Blink 182). I do not know how the receiver will perform all necessary with my next bass (probably a Warwick 5 string) but I think that bad happen as a letter in the mail.

OVERALL OPINION

Six months of use, no problem, no skip. The trick is a little boring weight (not far from 40 Kg) and a safe space ncssite high enough (he returned my nickel in my 106 by removing the rear range). Buying Used 450 euros (just below the argus-negotiation, but it works from time to time), good or value for qualitprix trs.

Hughes and Kettner have built some of the world's best amplifiers and most of that is from the guitar market and to much talk over the bass stuff. Even though they have a good reputation of having high quality products sometimes they can miss it. Their Quantum stuff for basses are very good. The tone is very well balanced and the design is extremely user friendly. This stuff not so much. Not that this combo is bad but just in comparison to the Quantum this is a bit of a downgrade. This amp is basically the same amp as the Bassforce L but just 200 watts rather than 100 watts. You gte the same basic tone and features but just more power. You can play a bigger room with this amp with the doubling of the wattage.

SOUNDS

This amp has the exact same tone as the large but just more power. Either way you get a lot of of this simple amp. There isn't a whole lot of tone features and not a lot of options but just a basic setup and a good workable bass amp. This little combo doesn't put out a whole lot of power for bass but enough to have a good little combo to practice with at home and in a small gigging setup. This combo ha a nice 15 inch speaker that puts out some good tight low end thump. The solid state tone is pretty decent for a solid state, but I wish it had at least one preamp tube in the mix so that you could get a good tube tone in the voicing of the amp. You need to solid state power section to get this amp up gigging volumes and power. The bass needs a lot more power than a guitar amp does. So you must have the solid state unless you have some KT88 power tubes in there and at best you would get around 300 watts of power. With the solid state you can get a whole lot more wattage.

OVERALL OPINION

The tone is a good for a practice setting and smaller gigs. The 200 watts is a help but maybe need a bit more to push through a bigger room. This is a great practice amp for someone who is on a budget and you can find these for not a whole lot of money. They are good amps for what you get. These amps have been discontinued for a while now so the used market is the only way to get this combo at this point. I have no idea what the going rate for these are but I cannot expect them to be outrageous of anything. I would recommend this amp if you can get a good deal on it and that being around $100 or so.

UTILIZATION

It sounds very good input so the tone controls are just to adjust the sound from the room acoustics. The EQ is very useful matrix, the finger position gives a tone for the game type fingers, with low méduims very present, the position slap hollow mediums, hand position is as it were an adjustment going on everywhere, and then a off position (note that the XXL version, the position is replaced by an off position fretless)
I bought the amp for the price argus OCCAZ but with the record of XXL, there is nothing that changes, except power and a twist on the EQ +

All suits have this amp, thanks to its 15-inch woofer and horn tweeter.
I play with a stingray 5 string and if passes without problem, and the slap too, provided you do not push the volume if the Horn Driver is active, otherwise have a very unpleasant breath

OVERALL OPINION

I have this amp since mid September 2004, I like it, although sometimes I wonder if it really gives off 200 watts, because before I had my stingray a passive bass, and I had to push the gain on 7 - 8 and the master at least 5 in order to make myself understood in the face of guitars and Marshall 100 watts pushed volume to just 2-3
I have the same problem with my stingray, I am forced to connect the input passive with substantially the same settings ... jme sometimes asks questions

Review of 20/10/2007:
3 years since I played it, record:
- Active input and tweeter HS (though the tweeter never used)
- Amp aging rather badly, the sound was really muffled since I got it, so that even with the treble and midrange nearly full, the sound is Always fade.
- I do not use that to repeat, my Fender BXR300C who took the notes on stage
- Dual Output Hp gotcha, do not use it, even if it announced that it only comes out 120 watts using two speakers, it disappears from the scene like that.

ITP more than I could advise, its small size and good power can serve as a return for your drummer if you connect from the XLR output or preamp out of your real amp stage.
