Best value: Excellent
A small transistor combo, powerful (300W in 8 ohm amp, 1x12 "400W RMS).
It has an external output for HP, an XLR output for connection to a table, an effects loop, an output for a tuner (or to another amp).
The head is broken.
In addition to the 4-band EQ, 2 pots a strong influence on the sound: it is a filter which provides a sound "all round" by cutting the high frequencies, and the other one's very funk by boosting the bass and treble and cutting the mids.

UTILIZATION

Super convenient to carry because it is small and lightweight (less than 20 Kg), easy to connect in any context, a good potato ...

SOUNDS

It is easy to get a good sound with most of the low current. No problem with my Jazz Bass, a little more work with my Rickenbacker. The two filters mentioned above can quickly get the sound desired.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months. It is perfect for rehearsals and small concerts.
It replaced an SWR LA 15 (100W) that was not enough.
Excellent quality / price ratio.
I think now turn towards the amps with a stronger identity, but I think it's an excellent choice as receiver "off-road."

Edit February 2010: still happy with this choice, this amp is robust and adapts to all situations.
