Combo amp transistor, dated late 70s early 80s a priori. This amp has a normal input and a bright entry, a stereo headphone output. The adjustments are sufficient but many can, there is a gain, and a three bands equa volume. It swings its 30 watts into a 12-inch speakers.

UTILIZATION

The settings can be many, it is very easy to find happiness, especially as the three EQ settings are very reactive. Gain and volume doing their job in a conventional manner.

SOUNDS

Not really versatile, but a big character mid 70's. I understand that this brand have been abandoned in the mid 80's because it's a lazy amp, understand that not going to have the responsiveness of a faster / modern amp. Basically, the thing is growling in the corner with lots of roundness and a big growl. The kind of sound alright for the soul and rock to the old (palm mute + mediator, found sound low key productions Danger Mouse).
An amp that sounds really good as long as we do not ask him to release a metal sound or slap games.
Something nice when you push the gain, a surprising very natural crunch, we obtain for a transistor.

OVERALL OPINION

For an amp paid 15 euros (which I think makes goal because he was rotten, I do not have a problem recycle) because of a cord that was not walking, I have no regrets for nothing world this purchase. I only use it at home or in a small studio for off gig without a drummer, 30watts is really just, I was really surprised by the quality of sound that comes out. It must be said that at the time, transistors amps were not necessarily low-end stuff (see Roland JC120). If he was let go, I think I'll keep the carcass for its typical look of the time and it will stay a head of the style Ampeg Portaflex 300 or what kind of amp that wants vintage / modern.
