This cabinet is presented by Accugroove like a big studio monitor bass can grow up to 600W under 4ohms. Mine has the famous Accuswitch (8Ohms/4Ohms), but I always used 4ohms. Its main feature is the power / weight ratio: it is very lightweight (22kg) for a power very comfortable. It is supposed to cover the entire range of the bass due to the presence of two HP 10 ", a 6", 2 tweeters and 2 events.
It is designed for use with an amp head or a combination preamp + amp properly.
For my part I use a Demeter preamp and power amp LabGruppen in rehearsal and in concert.

SOUNDS

This cabinet is designed to make no coloration to the sound of the bass, and it is indeed a speaker with whom it will not hesitate to manipulate the controls of the preamp / amp to get the desired sound. The positioning of the amp in a room or on stage is also quite important: in the corner of a room and placed on the ground provides the best result in terms of response.
It is mono.
The sound is clear and precise throughout the range of the instrument.
The dynamic is very well respected. The power is there. It is obtained we want the volume you want.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a little over a year.
What I like most is its weight / power ratio, the fact that you can really shape the sound to his liking, especially the fact that we have a great answer either in serious or treble.
I never tried other 2x10 ", but the selling point that it is able to advantageously replace a 4x10 is justified in view of the power output and excellent performance of sound regardless of where the 'we play on the handle.
This model is expensive (not imported into France) but the quality is there. The sound is linked to the concept and this quality is a matter of taste. However, it must be remembered that the sound quality is also due to the quality of the amplified instrument.
With the experience I would do this choice.
