The new Ernie Ball MVP active volume pedal for bass and guitar is now available worldwide.
The MVP (for Most Valuable Pedal) is still active and works with both active and passive signals. It can be placed anywhere in the signal chain.
The pedal features two controls: MIN allows for setting up the threshold for the heel position from 0 (no sound) to 50%, while GAIN is a boost that adds up to 20dB to the signal. A tuner output is also available.
When both knobs are set to 0, the MVP acts like a Junior 6180-style standard volume pedal.
The MVP is made of aluminum and uses a belt system. It requires a 9V battery or optional power supply.
Street price: 255€
