The Way Huge Electronics Angry Troll is a simple boost pedal electric guitar. The pedal is made up of analog components and has standard 1/4" connections across the board for input and output. The pedal is powered up by a nine volt power supply, as is pretty much the norm with pedals like this. It isn't rack mountable in any way since it's a stomp box pedal.
UTILIZATION
Using the Way Huge Electronics Angry Troll should be as easy as using any pedal out there. It's only got two parameters to work with, although each can change the sound a good amount. The two parameters are for volume, and 'anger.' Of course 'anger' isn't exactly a descript word to use for a parameter, but it...…

The two parameters are for volume, and 'anger.' Of course 'anger' isn't exactly a descript word to use for a parameter, but it controls the amount of gain. That's all that there is to the pedal, so no manual or outside assistance should be necessary.
SOUND QUALITY
The Way Huge Electronics Angry Troll is really no joke when it comes to boosting your signal, as it's possible to boost up as much as +50 db with the settings up! This would definitely seem like overkill, but it's nice to know that you could do so if you wanted to. While the Angry Troll is really a booster pedal by nature, it's certainly possible to get a good amount of gain coming out of the pedal, although I wouldn't recommend picking one up if you're going to primarily use it for this reason. It's a great booster pedal to begin with, so it's awesome that you can use it for some more serious overdrive if you want to as well. The pedal also have true bypass, so you won't have to worry about any noise or signal loss when the pedal isn't engaged.
OVERALL OPINION
The Way Huge Electronics Angry Troll is definitely one of the best guitar boost pedals that I've got experience with. There are a number of them out there that are more than capable of getting the job done and sound great in general, but the Angry Troll is definitely up there with my favorites. It's fool proof to use and has a top tier sound quality that's hard to match let alone beat. I used this and a number of other Way Huge Electronics pedals on a recent session, and it was easy to see why they had so many of Way Huge's pedals there! Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a professional boost pedal.

No

Balance Sheet
This is a great pedal, very massive delivered in a beautiful box decorated with a comic explaining the design effects Way Huge (a subsidiary of Dunlop). Brushed metal case very simple and yet very nice. Blue LED for more Mojo
Side connections: surprising. It looks solid.

Side settings: setting a volume and not notched a gain setting (Angry) notched.
I put 8 because even though all have confidence in unpacking, one wonders if this size is justified for a pedal like that.
UTILIZATION
The general configuration is simple?
Yes, it's a boost difficult to get any easier.
Editing sounds and effects is easy?
Yes.
The pedal can have 2 purposes: clean boost (when you set only the volume, the volume pot is Angry at least) and dirty boost (you set the volume pot Angry then the volume (you can do the opposite but I prefer to do so ).
The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
Yes, a sheet-brochure in English. 3 settings. Not need more
Balance Sheet
Ultra simple to use, intuitive to death: 10/10.
SOUND QUALITY
The effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
Whether clean or dirty boost boost, it sounds and it makes clear its job: to boost the signal without too much coloring.
Which instruments do you use?
ESP LH MH400NT plugged into an AMT SS20 whose output is plugged into the HP return a Valbee.
Which ones do you prefer, you hate?
I tried several things:
Use clean boost on the clean AMT SS20, connecting frontage:
It's magic. The signal is pumped full of life, it reacts much better with the dynamics of play Happiness.
Use clean boost on its Lead AMT SS20, connecting frontage:
Very nice but at high volume. It inflates its subtly, it takes more space but not necessarily stronger. The kind of effect that we forget it's there, but missing when it's gone.
Use dirty Boost on the clean AMT SS20, effects loop connecting the AMT SS20:
Very very nice. Depending on the regulation of Angry, you can go from an overdrive rather soft and subdued to a distortion rather "harsh". It is obviously playing with the volume and angry to find the right gear / sound volume!
Use dirty Boost on its Lead AMT SS20, effects loop connecting the AMT SS20:
I did not find it very interesting noise, the sound quickly becomes unmanageable and above 3 or 4 notch knob "Angry" (sorry, it graduated in point size (fist)), it happens mostly to the large feedback
Use clean boost on the clean AMT SS20, plugging into the effects loop of the AMT:
Same front connection except that there is less sensation of his "inflated" to block. Something is missing.
Use Dirty Boost on the clean AMT SS20, branching in the loop effect of the AMT:
Same front connection except that the sound is a little more aggressive and much more colorful.
Clean and Dirty on her Boost Lead AMT SS20, plugging into the effects loop of the AMT:
Horrible, they eat all the spectrum upper midrange and treble sound. Unusable with my gear (including ears included)
Balance Sheet
On my gear, it must clearly be used on the front, where he reveals all his qualities and versatility. I will try to complete the opinion, trying on real amps, front and in the loop if possible.
In any case, makes its use, and thereby act as overdrive quite nice and musical.
The effect is much more discreet about a lead on the light.
I put 8 / 10 because without being absolutely perfect, it's very very good.
OVERALL OPINION
For how long have you been using it?
About 15 days. Notice a bit young so to take sparingly.
What thing do you like most/least about it?
I like the ability to use the boost in clean boost and dirty boost. The effectiveness and simplicity of the settings are also very significant.
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
As a boost, I had a good old GE7 Boss, Boss FZ2 the boost of a Od9 Maxon.
What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Excellent. Very good build quality and very good price for a more than respectable.
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
It is highly likely.
Balance Sheet
Very good pedal, versatile, large headroom, nice design, extremely simple to use, colors the sound just right: neither too much nor too little.
Bought for 100 € in Great Britain, a case. A little harder to find in France because, although the effects will be distributed Huge Way, we can not find this model easily.
I put 8 / 10: the AC is widely
