X-Live recording very low audio level

Hi! We bought an X-Live multi-channel board for our X32. Works great except that all the 24 sources that are recorded are recorded with a very, very low audio level. Have to amplify +18db to use it in software

Wonder what we're doing wrong? I assume it's pre-fader?
