UTILIZATION

Very easy to use, I have 2 minutes to understand the thing in its main lignes.Un little more to discover all the subtitlités.Le manual is also damn good, do not hesitate to them in reger cases of concern.
The interface is small but super convenient, it stands out for its ergonomics, the faders are qualities, y 'lights where you need it ... Visually ca fart sure what is simple and effective.

SOUND QUALITY

WOUAOUUUH!!
Preamp is a 'Class A, compared with a presonus tube pre or a Firepod or the Line6 Toneport UX2, it sounds!

It gives the voice a presence, more clarity, and it brings out the subtleties in the sound that I had not even picked up! It literally transcends the original sound of Mics, even the SM58 has a sound quite bland and dull in my opinion is more clear and present through the Mindprint! The equalizer, although it seems limited at first, is very effective for this type of decision.

And my low ... ca put it really worth!
Indeed, so far I have used, first of all, the Bass Attack Hartke from home (though the live studio but ho hum), then the sound card Line 6 Toneport UX2 (already better).
Well I could not find the sound even with the Line6 (at least not enough, modeled too?)
But now, through the TRIO before connecting to the Line6, my bass lines, either with fingers, slap or tapping: it sounds better, and the entry of instruments TRIO, she at least can collect the input level of my active bass mounted avecun active micro kit never saturate (unlike the two others where it is less obvious)
The models provide a color, body and may lack serious about making a DI.

Oh by the way, the compressor what to bring warmth and glitter! There is only one button, but its setting is subtle and finesse! on bass and vocals great anyway!
I use it very sparingly over to color the sound really compresser.C is less accurate but it has much more character than a dbx 266xl (famous for its neutrality CERT).

OVERALL OPINION

It's a massacre! Paid 139 EUROS Thomann!! This is the price of my presonus TubePre purchased will have one year and nothing to ca!
I had the opportunity to test a envoice
of the same brand in the studio, and I do not feel like a by-product that really has nothing to question his (I mean the preamp).

And if you do not have optical input on your audio interface, there is nothing serious because it is enough to connect the stereo inputs and outputs of those inputs and outputs it to the corresponding "DAW" interface TRIO (not the A / D converters, as the MIC / Line and instruments, which are "real" analog inputs and outputs as a "real" strip ...).
It is also possible the TRIO OF USERS before the return of a mixer to low and medium range. (Like the USB version)
And auxiliary insert / send + the "DAW" interface allows to insert up to two of the TRIO effects processors or dynamic.

Finally, at this price, do not miss out, it's better than all the Presonus, Arttube and other preamp 'in this price range and more expensive! It is a concentrate of functionality, a preamp 'to do everything, you will improve decision-whatever you want.

Edit: tried it with a T Bone SCT700 tube, the Trio returns the signal very well while highlighting the subtleties I described the sound of the mic haut.Le seems better defined and precise.
