I tried to compare with a Contest "Quadlight" I used a few months. I put 8 pcke R7s lamps are not what is best for lighting a scene

I use 2 for 2 icolor small groups (3-ball orchestra and rock band). Looking for a system to have enough power play of light and quickly mounted and installed.
Assets:
+ A complete system: 4 colors (and mixing them), dimmer, DMX chase while the master or slave
+ 2000w lights
+ Installation and wiring fast and compact
+ Build quality
+ Economy of the cost of the lamps
Cons:
- The quality of light which is not that good projectors
- The 2000w per device (in small room they need to be plugged into different outlets if you do not want to blow!)
Bought 189 euros coins (bought two) plus the controller CA32 is a very good value for money.
The controller is actually required to use the best and most simply icolor.
I recommend this purchase if you know what is research and that is not expected to projectors with a quality of light.

I do not have color but I bought these two systems MUSIC FORCE 4 SH016 color change ... (I have not found a topic on this) is the same video but 4 times 500w.
frankly it spits ... Controllable with remote control, and DMX. Personally I just go over them and it's frankly dmx great! It's as well as my good old dichrotech! DMX, we can settle intensity of colors, choose colors etc. etc. ... and especially to his scenes!
It is not too heavy compared to the same type of another brand.
on the other hand, only problem for me is that it is very noisy, powerful ventilation (normal!) but noisy.
I bought 2 to 270 euros with lamps in little shop and for the price it does.

I used 2 with the small ddi CA32 Controller.

These are powerful projectors and economy. It gives a broad beam trs trs, suprieur 90 in width, slightly less in height.
Therefore suitable for a wide ambient lighting.

In standalone mode, chase beautiful rainbow sky trs progressive. Turning the microphone potentiomtre, it switches to chase classigue. Turning more, the chase is controlled by sound.
The unit can control DMX turn in as many slaves as you want to hook up.

Command in DMX, it possde 32 beautiful colors rgulirement spaces. The blue is not trs intense, but is a good compromise for intensitpuissance halognes lamps. Trs bright white with four lamp lights.
Rainbow effect, color dfile trs gradually and adjustable speed.
Rev chases a good choice, glitter, Varis, violent, etc..

Order 4 DMX channels with one channel rpartition weird.

Little DMX Controller ddi CA32 is almost indispensable to draw all that these projectors are able to:
9 buttons for direct ACCS main colors, faders for color or 32, or 16 DIFFERENT chases, speed fader fader + dimmer.
Other buttons select the DIFFERENT modes (fixed colors, variable speed chases or syncho on music, progressive blackout in several seconds, and so on.

The control console with a fairly classic freestyle because of the provision particulire 4 DMX channels not empty at all, whereas with the console dedicates all possibilities are directly at hand.

2 ventilos are quiet enough that you can touch the device without brler. Trs it cools too quickly.

I have bought two secondhand iColor3000 Belgium. They possdent two modes one of which 4 channels identical to ICOLOR4 and the other three channels directly controlling the intensity of the 3 lamps to a three-color additive.

3. Solution to the problem of the large electric power ncessaire:

Originally from each projector consumes 2000W. A pair consumes 4000W.

Unable to connect them together on the same 16A or on the same extension: a jump or a grid every time.

Solution: there are at Castorama General Electric lamps consume 375W called "ECONOMIC" because it clairent as much as 500W.
