I use it for more than 6 months, and I am delighted.
I like most: his free sound, low power consumption CPU
I like least: uh, I do not know ... maybe the color of the interface?
I confess to not having tried bcp models before, but to give you an idea: it gives a good best result that the built-compressor on the DSP of my 0404, for example.
There are probably more powerful compressors that it (but not free), but he does his job very well:
empcher very cleanly volume peaks, not stifle or dnaturer the original sound and without grsiller when pushed a bit the output gain.
Price quality ratio, well, since it's free, forcment unbeatable!
I would do this choice and I advise eyes closed (but ears open!)
