HOW LONG YOU USE IT?
I own this unit for several years during which he served me with add-on unit / emergency
What is so special that you love the most, the least?
+ Like all DAT, much easier and faster to use than flash cards recorders: one button = one function, no menus "headlock" real pots to adjust the levels ....
+ Very robust because of the drum motor and capstan direct drive (a number of records used to "bootleg" according to the U.S. sites)
+ Very good stability for drum scroll 3 / 4 inch instead of 1 / 2 inch of the other mini-DAT
+ Digital input / output coaxial + optical input (rare on portable DAT)
+ Orders still large enough for normal fingers ...
DENON + converters and fine quilted
+ Large display on the front
+ Comes with a very convenient control over
- Battery pack / batteries can be plugged on the body, which has however the advantage that it can record 6 hours with 6 AA Ni-Mh 2700 mAh
DID YOU HAVE TRIED OTHER MODELS before buying?
In fifteen years, I used a dozen fixed and portable DAT. This is one of the best phones with the Sony D-100
How would you rate the quality / price?
Expensive camera at the exit (near 100o Euros) - but that was the price of the Denon quality - it is very interesting opportunity because of its advantages and especially reliability. Add a small standalone preamp XLR type BEYER MV100 and you have a high quality recording and modular to suit your needs
With experience, do again YOU THIS CHOICE?
Surely because, as I mentioned, is one of the two best portable DAT I had and it is distinguished by some unique features and a recording time of 6 hours ... when the flash recorders current struggle to reach half ....
