API is about to launch two new modules in 500 Series format, the 505-DI and 565-Filter.
The API 505-DI uses the same direct injection circuit used on the famous API consoles. The module features a –20dB pad, a gain knob, a tone knob and a Bright switch for the high-end range. A VUmeter is also available as well as High-Z input and Thru connectors.
Also new in the 500 Series, the 565-Filter offers high and low-pass filters with slope controls (-6 and –12dB for the high-pass and –12 / –18dB for the low-pass), as well as two notches for the midrange with Range switch (x100, x10 and x1). The three sections can be enabled/disabled separately.
Both modules will retail in the USA for $595 each.
