Everything you need for a DI basis.

UTILIZATION

Use as simple as a DI permits.
Only regret: it is difficult resumed the position of the switches in the shadows.

SOUND QUALITY

I had the opportunity to conduct a comparative test of the DI with: Radial JDI & J48, SCV DI2mk3, EMO 520, Canford Active, not DI at all.

When you connect a device whose output has a impdance leve (guitar or bass of 15,000 = 50,000 ohms, Synth 600 = 10,000 ohms) in a console between micro ( impdance = 600 2000 ohms) without an ID, the signal loses treble, it becomes less "powerful" and less "prcis in his attacks," the quality of the short pulse and rponse amortization fall. The DI Berhinger, even on short lengths of cable, considerable improvement of the situation.

Compare her friends, is the one that sounds the least of six tests (with the Canford), and the one side the cheapest. The SCV prcise more silent, sharp, transparent, "crisp" would say the English. The EMO, enough color "mdiums" has done wonders on a Rhodes, but a good ncssite prampli micro derrire. The Radial prcises are more crisp than the SCV, but "harder" by consquent.

In concert, I happened to have some time with DI100 buzz, I could rsoudre by replaceable by BSS AR133.

OVERALL OPINION

I possde 2 DI100 past year. If you are looking for a reliable 100%, without staining or supplmentaires functions, and that you have in, invest in plutt Radial, BSS or Midas. That said, if your budget is tight the DI100 will help in 80% of cases.
