Value For Money : Excellent
Active direct box (analog).
Phantom power required, a change is possible for the use of 9V battery (contact the provider ... not tested!).

Opportunity to put 8 in a 19 "rack.

Connections:
- 1 input jack
- 1 link jack (we'll talk about below)
- 1 XLR

Switch:
- Ground Lift 1
- A-15dB PAD
- A 180 ° phase switch
- 1 cup bottom 80hz/6dB
- Merge one (we'll talk about below)

Merge function:
By activating the "Merge" the DI DI is a two-input (INPUT and LINK) on a single mono output, it can be of service ...

As for technical features, here are the manufacturer's data:

Dynamic range: 130dB
Signal to Noise: 119dB @ 100Hz
Maximum input: 10V
Frequency range: 10Hz ~ 40kHz
Linearity 20 ~ 20kHz: 0.1dB
Phase coherence: 10 º at 20Hz
0 º at 1kHz
Distortion at 20Hz: <0.5%
Input impedance: 220 kOhm
Output impedance: 600 Ohm

UTILIZATION

Using classical merge function (see below feature) may be practical.

Manual in English, so I do not like is that 8 note, especially coming from a Canadian manufacturer!

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is very well rendered, with no coloring and with very good dynamics, no breath unlike some cheap DI ... even with the CSA initiated the input level is pushed to compensate ...

OVERALL OPINION

Certainly I have just acquired, but the difference is obvious from the first second compared to my old DI cheap home Beh ......

Test on 6-string active bass, it restores the registry perfectly sound of the instrument.

The ability to put 8 in a 19 "is convenient as needed in the world of sound, with the advantage of putting different model in this rack ...
