Download super painful. The database profiles ADOBE ID is managed with the feet, it is very difficult and painful to get on the download page. Fortunately, the installation goes smoothly. The config is standard, the contents of the menus a little mixed. Some new options are checked by default which causes bizarre workings such as fade in that starts with a fade out then fade in to a ...
The super big problem with the config is the management of the sound card. So ok, it's done: config for editing, for multitrack and surround with lots of parameters. But the config that worked so well under 1.0 e 1.5 is no longer available and given that the coup is no longer possible to listen to what is recorded, it puts super bad! In my case, I use channels 1 / 2 digital recording and 1 / 2 analog monitoring. So I went back to version 1.5 for registration!

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

PC: Athlon XP 2400 + 2.0 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 150 SATA HDD in RAID0, Win XP with SP2 (essential for Audition 2), sound card DIGI96 / 8 (8 channels in / out analog / digital 24-bit 96 kHz). More than enough for the 1.5 but the 2.0 interface is very 'soft' in comparison. Many wait until you can start reading, etc ... It is stable but it gives a light feeling to skate in the semolina. In addition, backup files cause breaks in the reading file.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for one week and if it was improved algorithms for processing (noise reduction, cracking, etc.), I'll come no one on the 1.5. Overall, I'm still very disappointed, it makes you want to see what the competition!
