earz « excelente small console, power fiabilitee doubtful »
Published on 04/16/11 at 04:56everything is already said elsewhere, the month I use the extension with adat and 8 in the same brand. of shots I can route a what I want, but only in groups of 2 in / out.
UTILIZATION
not need manual, overall if you know the 01v well ... damage must be forgotten because the ergonomics of this console and have a reverse reflex ....
but everything that is annoying on the 01v is easy to access this one.
SOUNDS
is the c or c is interesting: against all expectations the sound is really good, contrary to what one might expect for the price and c is astonishing .. by comparison beside the 01V96 has converters aggressive enough in the highs and low cold enough ... The EQ is much more complete and effective on the console.
the effects are quite correct. however I'm not super convinced by the compressors.
OVERALL OPINION
What I love most is ergonomics c which is much more simple and accessible as on a 01V.
there is a bar graph in lane c is great.
the sound is also better that what we say (and despite the difference in price opportunity !!!!).
c now it is a pity theres no treatment on the master or the 16 bus ... no delays no longer possible .... c is really poor on this side ...
in fact what the console has suffered reliability cest. I think the problem come from the power supply, fan and drain hole are ridiculously small and the console seems poorly ventilated. Me my mine made some false starts in extreme conditions, below and above 10.C 35.C but since I've done it 4 years, used multiple configurations, I have never had any problems but I add for safety behind a UPS.
I work on a lot of numerical models 01v/96, 02V, M7CL, DM1000, DM2000, SONY-DMXR100, PM5D ICON ETC ....
I can say that Berhinger really did a great job on this console and also really shit on food, once they are thrown from professional .... damage
But this table is very interesting and helps out if you fall on a series reliable.
