The X18 is a 18-input ultra compact mixer that requires an iPad in order to control the channel strips.
The device includes 16 programable MIDAS mic preamps, 18 inputs in total, 6 aux and main L/R busses with dynamic processors, 6-band parametric and 31-band graphic EQs ; 6 TRS aux sends, 2 XLR main outputs, headphone out and RCA stereo outputs, as well as a 18×18 USB audio interface to record directly to the iPad or computer. MIDI input and output are also available, as well as a WiFi module for remote control.
On the software side, the X18 offers a 4 slot stereo virtual effect rack with classic gear emulations (Lexicon 480L, PCM70, EMT250, Quantec QRS) as well as a 100-band real time analyzer for all the channels and EQs.
The X18 ships with iOS and Mac/PC remote control apps and supports the Behringer P-16 personal monitoring system thanks to the Ultranet connectivity.
