UTILIZATION

I used the both for a rock band for a DJ or theatrical performances. The anti feedback effects, the auto trim, visualization tools all give a peace of use because even my 4 year old son succeeded (although I teach him) to be the sound of my guitar in pregnant ... Management the back is also very simple and well thought out

SOUNDS

I thought that with my Soundcraft table, I finally had a very good sound (much warmer than behringer. Well I do not know that Line 6 Very reluctant at first, I have been seduced by these characteristics and I have finally found a good opportunity ... Well my sound has changed a lot ... Much better actually when you think about it on an analog table there are three sound adjustment without being able to change the frequency. Well it is a very fine adjustment . an analog table, one that has only one effect for all tracks, then we can choose 4 effects for all tracks. 1 - PlayBack low battery
2 - acousite or Electric Guitar
3 - singing.

I did not want to waste time technical considerations, preferring to devote myself to musique.Ce product perfectly meets my expectations.
The sound reproduction is (for me) excellent. when I play well ...

The price / quality ratio is that there are better now.

I'm not going to inflict the technical summary of the machine ... everyone will read the specs and analyze the advantages and limitations.
A few more entries and two voiens additional return would have made the ultimate weapon.
I'm going to explain why I chose this tool and what my specifications.

In an associative context, I specified the audio development of an auditorium of 250 seats and 400 in total. The ecosystem line 6 struck me as answering a multiple application conference / theatrical performances / concerts / dance / show. So many potential users for different applications.
We have a sound and light at the back of the room.
So we did install L2m 4, 4 and 2 L3s L3m associated with M20D. in short, a complete ecosystem.

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is it simple?
Once in place, it is clear, the inputs and outputs are traditional. Positive aspect of the L6 link that simplifies conf between the elements of sound. Attention to a flat size that caused us a real problem, the limitation to 15 meter connections l6 link. This is the main defect of the product and I hope Line 6 will find a solution (problem to use this lorque the table is governed dansune back of the room.). Fortunately, we can overcome the problem in analog but hey, it's a shame though.

The configuration stage plan is foolproof ergonomics though a bit unsettling at first. However, the configuration is super well made and well thought out. IPad control is énormissime utility.

Used for a few weeks. I could use this system when providing two rock bands in the evening then a Jazz quartet and finally a big band jazz.
Autogain, balance and scene memories recorded extremely helpful and fast. Several benefits are coming and I will update.

Have you tried many other models before buying it? some rather traditional and less affluent conditions.

UTILIZATION

The touch interface is particularly pleasant to handle and effective regardless of the method of use:
- SET UP to describe moving objects group configuration,

It is very complete, but the number of channels is limited. This means that sound in a jazz ensemble of 15 musicians is impossible with itself. We solved the problem with an additional table dedicated to drums and percussion that has a single entry! (200 €)
It is used for a music school, and two groups: 15 and 7 jazz musicians pop / rock / varieties.

UTILIZATION

General setup a bit confusing at first but once made extremely simple abstraction of ancient knowledge.
The manual is clear (PDF on iPad, PC, etc.) and complex yet essential to start. After everything is intuitive.

The biggest problem is the manipulation of knobs levels on the iPad screen. Wanting to use the same aesthetic as the console we lose in practice. An Update Firmware iPad wins with straight sliders please.

SOUNDS

The sound is giant, little or no wind.

We played 6 (2 voice, guitar, bass, keyboard, drum machine) without amp and live on the console (with DI box for guitar and shure wireless system for bass), recorded all on SD card. The quality is perfect, low sounds in the studio, the guitar is clear.
The musicians are the limiting factor!
And many configurable filters in all directions.
Dynamics dream for our needs: we do not play at the Zenith. But the volume of beeps in a gym with all the vagaries of such acoustic room.

We are not swallowed sound as there are probably settings that they will not find. But we are far short of its potential.

I just used the Line 6 StageScape M20D for the first time last week, and it has some really amazing features. The interface of this system is truly one of a kind and unique. On the back of the unit are where all of the ins and outs are but by looking at the front of the unit it was hard to tell that it was even an interface. It has a total of 20 different inputs with 12 of them being combo jack mic line ins.

UTILIZATION

It took me a few minutes to understand working with the M20D. Last week I was in charge of setting up a small show for a local band that I work with and they owned this. They didn’t even know how to use it so I basically had to figure it out on the fly and I did it easy without the manual because they didn’t have it with them (though it does come with one).

SOUNDS

The effects where perfect, I didn’t expect to get multiband compressors, gates, and limiters right on the M20D. While using this unit I was also able to record the full show in WAV format to a USB drive to put it into my DAW later on because they are working on a live album as well.

OVERALL OPINION

I basically had the M20D in my hands for most of the rehearsal just messing with options trying to get a better feel for how it worked and I was able to really edit some things like the kick drum. I was able to add some punch and compression to the kick drum right from the M20D. This unit was truly a gift to work with and I will be purchasing one of my own soon too. For any group that performs live or at least practice a lot together, this is an immediate must have. You will be in awe on what can be done by this little interface.

The Line 6 StageScape M20d is nothing short of spectacular (if you can afford it). This digital mixer will allow you to connect an iPad through WiFi connection to take full control over this mixer from anywhere in the area. This mixer has over a 100 different processors built into it that are truly amazing. The M20d has 16 channels and 12 microphone preamps. There are 4 line in inputs and 2 digital outs with a headphone jack. While using this mixer you can record up to 16 channels simultaneously and get a great sound every single time you use it.

UTILIZATION

This unit is not easy to operate; it will take some time before you can understand how to fully operate it even with the manual. But once you get over the learning curve you will be able to do some really cool stuff with this mixer. This unit is also very portable because it is light and well made. There are some effects on the M20d as well.

SOUNDS

All of the effects and filters are very good, they will suit whatever style of music you create. The manual is very clear and easy to use, but it is pretty extensive and will take time to read through. I do not recommend reading straight through it. I feel it would be better just to look things up as you go and need to understand something.

OVERALL OPINION

The only downfall of this mixer is that it is so expensive, and when you first look at it you will not think that it will be worth that much money. But it truly is, I suggest that you go to a store where you can try it out before you invest in it because it is not for everyone. Most DJ’s and producers do not need this many options. This is the first unit like this that I have ever tried and it was by far the best. This is a must have and anyone who can afford it should buy it without a doubt.
