This digital mixer will allow you to connect an iPad through WiFi connection to take full control over this mixer from anywhere in the area. This mixer has over a 100 different processors built into it that are truly amazing. The M20d has 16 channels and 12 microphone preamps. There are 4 line in inputs and 2 digital outs with a headphone jack. While using this mixer you can record up to 16 channels simultaneously and get a great sound every single time you use it.
UTILIZATION
This unit is not easy to operate; it will take some time before you can understand how to fully operate it even with the manual. But once you get over the learning curve you will be able to do some really cool stuff with this mixer. This unit is also very portable because it is light and well made. There are some effects on the M20d as well.
SOUNDS
All of the effects and filters are very good, they will suit whatever style of music you create. The manual is very clear and easy to use, but it is pretty extensive and will take time to read through. I do not recommend reading straight through it. I feel it would be better just to look things up as you go and need to understand something.
OVERALL OPINION
The only downfall of this mixer is that it is so expensive, and when you first look at it you will not think that it will be worth that much money. But it truly is, I suggest that you go to a store where you can try it out before you invest in it because it is not for everyone. Most DJ’s and producers do not need this many options. This is the first unit like this that I have ever tried and it was by far the best. This is a must have and anyone who can afford it should buy it without a doubt.
