For complete information, nothing beats a ride from the manufacturer:

UTILIZATION

If one knows the M7CL, it will be rather easy to set up the console without opening the manual (in my case so no opinion on the manual).
Yamaha has taken my taste all the benefits of the M7CL (accessibility parameters, ergonomics, ease of use), but also avoided the same mistake again (gain notched his cold ...)
It is very nice shape this console as desired.

SOUNDS

The sound quality of this console is up to what is expected of her.
In addition to having a good pre-amp, the treatments are very effective inputs.
The big plus of this console compared to the previous one is "virtual rack".
It offers 16 full graphic EQ bands 31 or 32 flex to 15 + 8 effect modules good quality + rack up to 8 modules "Premium" emulating dynamic peripherals.
Even using all the resources of the console, there is no loss of energy ('ll do that at the level of the display that suffers first generally overload digital console).
In the end, I found a very good sound to this console.

OVERALL OPINION

I have used this console 3 times (2 times in the front and one received both returns) and have had a problem that could be major: not control the Rio malgrès proper addressing, the console spotted but that's all.
After having changed many times the console and Rio addresses that ended up walking but the problem remains a serious concern.
I think that will be updated soon with Yamaha because after discussing the same problem happened to a friend.
In any case it is a console that I recommend on my sheet now, it means everything!
