This piano numrique intgre a heavy touch, a keyboard 88 keys (seven octaves quarter).

I sound ACCS 7 (Grand Piano, Classical Piano, E. Piano 1 & 2, Harpsichord, Strings and Pipe Organ) with a variation for each. It is possible to play two sounds simultaneously.

There are four types of reverb (Room, Hall 1 & 2, Stage), four types of effects (Chorus, Symphonic, Tremolo, Delay) and the possibility to choose between three types of touching DIFFERENT (Hard, Medium , Soft).

We also have three pedals that have the same function as on a piano line.

    Transposition, tuning, mtronome.

    2-track recorder.

BMD for each intrument and a bank of 50 pieces plutt typs classical and jazz to discovering the possibilities of bte.

In short, a complete intrument for my needs.

    UTILIZATION

We have a piano to the children's use, the manual is in French, but also German, Spanish and English. Clearly.

I also have an acoustic piano (Pleyel) and the purchase of the CLP 840 silent strength because, living in apartments, this high Dranga neighbors and the possibility to play with headphones and / or to r Gler the volume silent trs important to me.

So I use this piano and I am intensely happy trs. I had no problem with.

I chose this because it silent MODEL down on a new technology named Graded Hammer and reproduces the double Exhaust Systm Manir trs convincing. Having tried several instruments at the same time, I immediately won over by t touch, that is, I think most of the piano.

    Why 840 plutt the 860 or 820?

I had a budget of 10,000 francs (1,500 euros) and the 860 was too expensive and there was no sound (I did not need - I possde an M1 and a X5DR, plus 2 or 3 synths, recently). As for the MODEL CLP 820, it has only two pedals, or the directory that j'interprte ncessite rgulirement the use of three pedals (I mainly play classical music: Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Scriabin, Debussy, Ravel, Messiaen, Glass, Dutilleux (to mention only the main - and prfrs)

In short, unless you find a piano with a touch more raliste that price the choice I would do this without any hsitation.

    I put 10/10 but 10 + would be more appropriate: o)

    SOUNDS

The sounds (those piano) are practitioner. The other sound I care little. The two sounds of acoustic piano available (and their variations) are used to address a wide directory. However, I use the same sound in 99% of cases: Grand Piano with reverb "Stage", the effect of "Delay" and touch "Soft". That's my opinion that the combination possde the most similarities with vritable an acoustic piano. I asked my teacher at the conservatory to come to me and tell me what he thought. It does me well said. Add this amplification of 2 x 60 Watts, and the machine has everything you need in the belly to meet many people.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use the CLP-840 for 5 years now.

Overall, we have the A model with a good, nay, excellent qualitprix, which will suit the budget. I think this tool is really an edge over its competitors Contents of touch. This is the piano numrique IDAL to work hard. Fates if you like me more than 4 or 5 hours of piano a day, you can opt for the CLP-840 without asking too many questions. However, each pianist possde own technique and I would strongly advise to try other models before DCID to the final purchase. And Obviously, do not forget to play on a piano rgulirement tail, because even if the Yamaha has its Pingle Manir the game more than convincing, nothing n'quivaut the pleasure of playing on a real piano.

    Two things though:

    - In my opinion, this piano is suitable for any pianist with a dj but a good technical level pianist beginners will not know forcment take advantage of opportunities offered by this instrument. May be better to then turn to the 820 or so a MODEL MODEL equivalent in another brand.

    - The matriau used on the panel CONTRL, if well made, is against clean difficult (it is granular dusts and embeds it easy: o)
