The K4-r is the expander version of Kawa K4, synth quite popular in the late 1980s. In the era, he competes with the silent D-10/D-110 Roland.

The technical specifications are the same as those of K4, prs two exceptions: the K4-r does not possde effects, and offers six outputs spares.

This is a 100% digital synth with many options, including: 4 gnrateurs (DO) in its mode "single", an ADSR for volume and one for the couple filter of two sounds, a ring-modulator.

UTILIZATION

Like most versions of rack synths, the sound edition is tedious. On the web, we encounter the same Customers who purchased this rack prcisment why (1 / 10) there is a small program nanmoins trs useful (for PC) that makes trs comfortable programming (9 / 10):

SOUNDS

The sounds are those found in the music of the 1980s. They are not practitioner.
The choirs are of the era, for those who apprcient new wave, it is possible to create beautiful tablecloths and beautiful organ sounds. For cons, the sounds are a bit of "potato" in the attack.
The often criticized in K4-r its lack of originality simply spend some time to understand how it works out then sounds honorable trs. I told her assistant delay and chorus: your exact enough thundering.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this synth for two years. For a modest sum trs, you have in your hands with a real synth sounds CRER A Z. It has a place in my home studio.
Exprience I would do with that choice.
