Published on 08/30/12 at 11:15True to its tradition of innovation and the competitive price QuadraSynth Alesis released in 1993 in the USA and in France in September 1994 to approximately 14,000 FRS, it was their first great synthesizer.
Originally, in cooperation with Alesis, Marcus Ryle and Michel Doidic who had also participated in the development of several large Oberheim synths as in the famous Matrix 12, Xpander OB8 and are also involved in the effects section and the ADAT QuadraSynth.
It has 76 keys, 64-voice sample-based subtractive digital PCM, which also exists in a version rackmount S4.
For the time he had a huge sample ROM and 16 MB was the first synthesizer on the market to offer the ADAT Optical Digital Interface 48kHz optical digital output.

UTILIZATION
QuadraSynth surface is very well designed.
Buttons each have a single function, the selection and the parameter settings are right on the screen, while the data entry knob and large soft hit is very nice on the left.
In the modulation matrix found Oberheim side, you determine the source machine, eg keyboard, aftertouch, pedal, pitch bend, etc. oscillator. okay modulate the destination LFO, envelopes and effects, the possibilities are complex.

OVERALL OPINION
