- What are the effects or types of effects available?
Delay, Echo, Pen, Flanger, Trans, Jet, Zip, Wah, Ring, and an equalizer Fuzz
The first 5 can be applied to selected frequencies (eg, hi, mid, bass). I think that's what makes the strength of this table.
Here are the spec:
The Pioneer EFX-500 offers 5 effects synchronized with BPM: Delay, Echo, Auto Pan, Flanger and Auto Transformer.
• Ability to assign an effect on one or more bandwidth (MID, LOW or HI).
• BPM counter (automatic, TAP or MIDI).
• Automatic timing effects on 1 / 4, 1 / 2, 3 / 4, 1, 2 or 4 stroke
• Adjusting the intensity of the effects by pressing Depth.
• Adjusting the balance between original sound and sound effects
• Three-position switch (on, off and lock).
Digital Effects:
• 5 digital effects JET, WAH, RING and BUZZ configurable and modifiable in real time using the Jog Dial.
• Hold in position, keeping the settings selected with the Jog Dial

UTILIZATION
The it's all good. The configuration is thought to tombersous fingers.
So we ask more questions (which is good because when you have to manage the mix in addition to it quickly becomes complicated)
SOUND QUALITY
- Effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
Yes is not: The effects are great EXCEPT the Fuzz and Ring that break the ears. It's not a problem if you use them but hey the pioneer of ca disappoint me. 2 useless functions
- Which ones you prefer, you hate?
I like Echo, wah, Get, and Trans Flanger
I like using: fuzz and ring
Otherwise, I have noted that the tienda equalizer is one of the best I've seen from Pioneer!

Without hesitation, because I can not do without. on the other hand I've ever tested EFX1000 ... So who knows if one day I sub ...
You should know that the function send / return of the djm 600 can pass on what path nimporte instantly! And that's really the top.
