Because of its fragility (is that the plastoc) and low extent of use this headset is not worth more than € 150 we read. This is the general max 70 euros.
I took this headphone for a closed headphone for recordings and listen to music like hip-hop and dance floor but certainly not for monitoring or mixing.

Price / quality ratio:
zero if Bought 150 euros
good if purchased 50 euros

I repeat that choice right from the conditions fixed in advance.

PS: given its fragility I think it's a bad idea to fold it constantly (although it is planned for). Opt for a small carry bag that does not require bending if you want to carry your DJ sessions and make it last a little.

I would say that this headphone is for those who desire a high-end audio quality. This is much better than the Beats and other brand very "commercial" and fashionable for a much more attractive price! I use it for over 2 years, I tried another model and I will take it eyes closed!

The only downside for a really prolonged listening, towers earrings are comfortable can (with a little time, more problems ^ ^). But there is a DJ headphones so comfort ... (knowing that often moves his headphone instead ...). A reason minimum 2H music per day for more than 2 years, I regret nothing alarming, broken or it deteriorates. The Must! A sound that can adapt to all kinds of music and even when it comes to movies! Even the classic becomes a pleasure as the return of each instrument and played to perfection. The Sony MDR-XD100's are a set of solid studio headphones, perfect for when you need a few extra pairs around your studio but don't feel the need to spend too much money on them. This is pretty much the cheapest set of Sony headphones you'll find, and honestly they aren't all that bad. Of course they feel extremely cheap and aren't the most comfortable headphones, but the sound quality isn't half bad. I don't know much about the technical aspects of these headphones like materials used or frequency response, but that information should be readily available from Sony if you need it. I don't own a pair of these headphones, but a producer that I work with has a pair of these at his home studio as an extra set to have around. Since we're working in a smaller environment, sometimes it's necessary to monitor with headphones, so I was listening with these during a few takes on a recent session. Again, they aren't going to be very comfortable, although I wouldn't say that they're notoriously uncomfortable, they just don't stay put very well upon your head and the adjustable band on top is pretty cheap feeling. While the sound isn't great, it's definitely adequate for monitoring during playback or recording. As always, I wouldn't recommending mixing on headphones, and definitely, definitely no not mix with these! They're fine for DJ use as well, but don't rely too much on them to give you the most accurate sonic depiction. Overall, the best part of the Sony MDR-XD100 is definitely the price as they're some of the cheapest studio style headphones that you're going to find and in the end they do have the Sony stamp on them. Don't get your hopes too high for them, but check them out if you want some decent dirt cheap studio phones for sure.

since I have, I have a different approach on the quality of sound: I support fewer sounds in MP3 format even those in so-called High quality when I compare the original CD
it does not saturate and its impedance is neither too high nor too low (no need to sureamplifie or sousamplifier)
throughout the headphone looks very solid and it fits comfortably on the head, for use against after I extended a little sore around the edges of the ears
the spiral cable is one I find rather more so than mini-jack/jack adapter that screws (do not lose on the other hand)

I use this headset rather reasonably for about 4 years I bought a discharge.
I like the look, sound good potato, it isolates rather well from the outside.

Before I had the AKG K271 .. that was comfortable, reliable and quality but lacked potatoes!

Bought 140 euros in Germany including ports, it's expensive but I when I buy I tell myself "it will resell well?" .. translation by admitting that I separated in a year, I could get close to 100 euros I think .. So the calculation is quickly if you are careful it comes down not so expensive in the end ...

AKG has released a special headphone DJ of the same type as that is, if I had more time, I can be expected it is available to buy it because it must be good! (AKG K181 DJ)

For comfort, it's not the AKG (sometimes it slips), but it can take multiple positions that's good.
Finally, a great headphone that did not disappoint me at the moment .. but nothing is perfect = 8.10.
