I utikise for 3 months. I try Vestax VCI 300. DJ for 15 years this product is very pro, I use same club with 4 other plates (cd and vinyl records) The advantage is that Vestax has a sound card integration, it is robust and I Jamis have been no crash. As for the knobs feel free to address them at your convenience by adding a small piece of cardboard under the crossfader (chut!!) The jogs are adjustable via a small screw. What is good:

What is less well:
-The accuracy of the buttons leaves something to be desired (particularly for adjusting the pitch)
-Gains (Bass, Treble, and medium) rising to 34 dB which inevitably causes a saturation when you push the gain on the bottom ... and it loses in accuracy for low amplifications ...
Some bugs, especially when the emphasis too much on the pitch bend buttons, and although sometimes the song is fast making the mix a bit hard ...
CUE-function seems poorly thought out or I did not understand how to use it.

The RMX has erased all the fault which was the old "toy".
It is solid, heavy steel chassis and aluminum. The knobs and faders are serious.
There are only 2 points to review:

- The jog wheels a bit small but not particularly tactile.
I completely disagree with the previous opinion, much more than the RMX is the monitoring and seriousness of these drivers: one benefits the entire team of Hercules.
The drivers are stable: I've never had any pb stability in the evening with Virtual DJ Pro (purchased version eh ..... not a hack emuliens ....)

The other good thing about this console is its very serious audio interface complete: it allows you to enter more external plates, which is a plus for anyone who wants to secure its config.
Another plus, release 6.35 RCA and lined out a strong signal that "sound" at +4 dBu, perfect for sound amplifiers or powered systems.
Really, for the price, the best compromise is complete.

The Hercules RMX is a quick simple and efficient for any mobile DJ.
For the soft mix to use with VDJ ago last 7 with which the machine is wonderfully compatible with earlier versions of the inverse of soft.
It was available in 1 channel stereo headset available in 2 locations, same for the mono channel microphone for two, they are jacks.

Manufacturing is strong and just connect the usb to power, the gain level on the headphone output is quite sufficient if you use a HD25 (headphone), for the other model I've never tried.
The machine itself does not really big faultless is especially soft to be chosen with which to make a nice mix station or not.
I think VDJ7 is because everything is very well recognized by car with the RMX, aucunne config button to load, and the lights work as a whole. is stable and fast, simple and efficient.
If the main purpose is to dance in your DJ nights, not need anything else.
If you want to improve on techniques for mixing and working with a pro club or another, it will be worth mieu invest in real turntables in good order.

I purchased this console as the primary solution to get into djing.
Used with a mac book pro and traktor, very good duet for 2 years to make my "weapon".
This console is robust, pleasant to use, reliable (never had a single crash in 2 years) and easy to understand to begin with.
I mix of electro, techno, minimal and I am pleased at the outset.
After a year, I purchased in addition to a x1 kontrol to complete the console features including cue and management for their effects. Indeed it is quite limited on this side quickly because lack of control to make full use traktor (knob not enough to properly handle such effects).

I have just change to spend on the Native Instruments Kontrol s4 (which is really terrible).
Especially for power mixer with 4 decks and go upmarket on the sound card.

Pros:
- Robust (not the first gadget like consoles Hercules)
- Stable and reliable if used properly
- Hardware rather good for this range
- Provides all the basic functionality to start and have fun (cue, effects, equalizer, killer joogles, traktor navigation, timing, loop etc ...)
- Multiple inputs and outputs and RCA Jack + management headphone and microphone

- A good graphics card that can be integrated independently
- Carrying bag for purchase (it's cool)

Cons:
- Only 2 decks

I use it for 1 years with a white Intel Macbook with 4 GB of ram.

I tried several other interface but this one is very responsive, easy to use, and configure.

I have so much confidence in this configuration that I've done parties with just the mac, console and sound system (hk lucas performer) or without CD mixer directly into the RCA output XLR of entrance to the subwoofer.

Like:

- JogDial very reactive and sensitive
- Pitch sensitive
- Kills effective
- Tempo sync via a button

- Perfect timing with VDJ 5.6 or 7,

I dislike:
