Native Instruments chose WMC 2015 Miami to show the first images of its new DJ controller, which name should be Traktor Kontrol D2.
The name of this new controller has not been officially confirmed by Native Instruments, but was leaked by artist Uner on his Facebook page.
If you take a close look at the pictures below, you’ll see that this Traktor Kontrol D2 is the exact replica of the right section of the flagship S8 controller : color display, 8 pads, 4 faders, a ribbon-type controller, buttons and knobs located at the exact same place as on Native’s larger controller.
Will this be a more compact version only dedicated to MIDI control of 4 decks/Remix decks without the mixer? Will it have an audio interface onboard? We’ll know more about it soon…
